Ignored the call, since it was unidentified and in Washington state, but seconds later was a knock at my door with my Amazon delivery. I'm assuming (from above comments) that this was Amazon.

Its a amazon courier, called to make sure that they deliver your package correctly or if they have any questions regarding your address etc

They let a message like a press 1 to give a message

Called twice.  Did not leave a message either time.  It was definitely not an amazon delivery.

Amazon number.  I have ordered a lot from them and it's the first time ever they called from that number. But package was delivered.

this is horrible! Got a call from this number: 'Amazon. ARE YOU AT HOME?' Hey, this is great - I have to tell SOMEBODY, calling from some obscure number, that I am not at home?! I didn't trust him for a second, and told him the phone is on 'don not call' registry. He started screaming at me, I hung up. I am sure they could at least identify the number as Amazon number! with all the scam going on do they really expect people to answer and tell whoever whether they are at home or not?! or at least teach the delivery to introduce themselves properly...

"He started screaming at me". Guess that proves that this was not Amazon and that the people here saying that it is a lying thieves working for the crooks calling you.

Got a call from this number, they claimed to know me, and said "5 PM, text me for details" after making fun of my voicemail message. Tried to call back and text back and it says you can't do either.

Probably a scam.

Got a call on my mobile. Did not answer. If this really was amazon, they called the wrong number as I do not have any orders pending or being delivered.

This # called me saying that they couldn't find my address

States it was amazon. Called two times and when I answered said they couldn’t find my address and needed it Clarified. Problem is I don’t have any outstanding orders.

Is this an Amazon #? I received a text from this # but not anything to do w Amazon. It was a person. So…? Am I being dooped?

You marked the call as "Valid" which means that you already know the answer or that you don't know what the word "Valid" means which leads me to believe that you are not being "dooped" whatever that is but that you are that word with one less "o, and the ed" dropped off of it.
