I keep getting calls from this number 207-710-0712 about a case against me which is not so, I wish they would stop calling.

Got a call at my home address and cell phone regarding charges filed due to fraudulent activity. I called them back at 207-710-0712 - Natasha answered - company is A & L Associates - asked for my last 4 of social - told her she should have all numbers as the case is against my soc sec #. Gave her the last 4 to get more info on this charge. We talked for a bit - she mentioned a credit loan I applied for on line - 6/28/12 and didn't payback. Was for $350 - said I could have an outside court deal of $250 if I paid it today. Asked for paperwork - she said if I take an arrangement an receive a letter int eh mail or at my work then I would owe $450. I asked if we were being recorded and she said yes. I wanted her to rewind to review the amount as she now said it was $455. She refused and told me I will see her in court and she hung up. Turn them in to IRS I will now be doing so.

Don't entertain this. IT'S A SCAM...

This number has called me periodically for the past 6 months with the same message.  I have fraud charges against me.  The have said much the same this as everyone on here has posted, loss of home, loss of car, wage garnishments.  There's a lot of tough talk trying to get money from me.  I will NOT call them back and I suggest you don't return their calls either.  They just want to scam some poor person out of their money.  Hopefully someday they will be stopped.

I keep getting this same call stating that I have 2 charges being brought against me. If it were true, they wouldn't keep calling and just send me something. I will be contacting the authorities. SCAM!!!!

Got a call just now left message on my voice mail I have complaints filed against me if I want to rectify this call back or being summons at home or my work place . What in the world is that I looked the number up all I see is this number and scams

Received a voice message from this number saying I had complaints filed against me and if I wanted to fix these complaints to call back or I would be.summons at my.work or home , I did try calling back it goes directly to a voice mail I left my name and number they have not called back I look up this.number on the internet and see that a lot of people have been getting calls and it's a scam I've been.scammed in the past and it doesn't feel good and I don't have money to be throwing away on bills I don't even owe how do I get them to stop calling is there anything that can be.done with the.police dept in my city could they help me in any way.with.these scammers

I have been getting these calls for years. Claiming my husband and myself owe money. Sad thing is...hes been deceased since 2008. Pretty sick people.

Received a call from this number on my house phone and cell phone. Let an automated message at both numbers stated that they received a complaint and that they would be serving me either at home or at work to give them a call as soon as possible and that I have been notified. This is the 7th time I have received these calls. Total scam!!!!! Don't get sucked into the fraud!!! No one will ever call and notify you that you will be served, they'll just show up and serve you. These people should be a damn shamed of themselves. Who knows how many people and/or their family members they have scammed!!!

I received a call from this number saying their name was Ellis and Associates, they called on my mother's phone and not mines. They asked me to identify my social security number before they could give me information on why they were calling my mother's phone. My mother stated that on the voicemail, they mentioned that I had charges being filed against me, but they did not say what company or anything.

They are now calling from 504-535-5878 as well.

I got a call from this same number, the company named Alexander & Assoc. say I had a fraudulent charges of some sort. I called back and some lady by the name of Ms.Morris was very rude and nasty to me. She had my information and said they were going to garnish my wages. I called my payroll to let them know.

Had my personal information, want to know bow they got it. Saying same thing have fraudulent things to my social.told me the complaint company was jd marketing.  Never heard of them

has anyone got a "certified letter" form from them? last week i rcvd a delivery notice from usps however they never rang my doorbell and i was home. the note said it was a final notice, i never rcvd any prior to this and it was being returned to the sender, there was a tracking # which i looked up ad nothing even came up. I'm not sure if this "certified letter is from them but I'm starting to freak out, i checked my credit score and its still perfect. also i just leased my second car in January and there is no issue with my credit!!!! what i don't understand is how and why they keep calling i called my lawyer and he said it was a scam. I'm calling cable vision and have the number blocked from my home and my parents home line. this is just ridiculous. oh also love that they they will go to my place of employment. I've been out of work since april!!!!!

Yes.  Word for Word that's what my message said.  I'm just going to block them and each number they call from.  You're rights are never forfeited.  If you get a summons, (which won't happen in this case because it's a scam),   you would be summons to show up in court and you would be given the details behind the summons in which case you could defend yourself.      Don't call and confirm anything.    If you must, you give your attorney the telephone number to call them.

I've been getting these calls for a while and the person they are looking for does not live here. I have tried numerous times to call them back, no answer by human, the message they have programmed is never any answer. I've had my gut full.

this number called me telling me that i have two fraudulent charges against me and that they were going to summons me and that i have to contact them. they even gave me a case number JSB51873

Got the same call. I hope they call everyday, because it cheers me up! Us dirty, lowlife, scumbags, stick together! I can't wait to see my new friends in court!

Yep, they called me too and said the same thing about fraudulent changes against my social security number.   I know darn well that they are using scare tactics to get people to give their personal information.    As a collection agency, it's illegal to make that type of call and if there were fraudulent activity, you would get a call from detective before you would get any type of summons.   So for all those panicking,  just block their number (s).   I am curious how they got my home phone which is not only new, never given out (I don't even know it), unlisted and on a do not call registry and they associated it with my cell phone.    The only place that has my home phone number is TWC.   I just have it for emergencies.
