caller ID  said name of :   COEUR D ALAN ID      number  208 758 0218        left a message that was a cut off recording that said something about a small dog...only lasted about 3 seconds..... i got a friend that said new tactic of debt collectors is to use a neighbors name or some other 'bait' to get you to call back then they know your number is good and they keep calling back because you let them know where you are.....  i say you don't provide a caller id and a name or a legible message, then you call is not important enough to me to bother but deleting it.

I got a call from this number too, also saying it was a survey and asking if I owned a small dog.  Have no idea what it's about

I got a recorded message asking me if I have a dog under 25 lbs. I said 'no', paused, and then the calling machine hung up. I can not imagine what these guys are after.

Am on the DO NOT CALL list. Hate calls like this!

Called several times and no legible message is left.  Caller ID is COEUR D ALEN ID.  Vonage doesn't allow blocking of individual numbers.  Am on DNC list.

Call from 208 758 0218 came in approx. 9:15PM 8/22/2010.  The caller voice asked "Do you have a small dog"?  Like a dummy I responded "yes" and the call disconnected.  Does anyone have any information regarding these calls?

Got a call tonight at 6:57 EDT.  Same story as the rest of you, it came from "P30PLE RSPNZ" HOW does a phone company even list a company with such a name that is such obvious a obvious scam set-up??? The phone companies should be fined for every call that is made, ad should have their FCC license revoked about 1,000 such calls are reported - a once the DC Reg. has collected the fines.

I've just reported it to the (worthless) Do Not Call Registry.  But what good does that do?  They obviously do nothing about this.  Just another worthless gov't agency with a bunch of freeloading lazy people collecting a paycheck from the taxpayers.

At least I was fortunate not to have the multiple calls like many of you. I guess my telezapper still works somewhat.

I received a call from this same number.....did not answer, but left a message asking if I owned a small dog.

I just spoke to an animal control officer who said that that this could be a scam where a laboratory is stealing small dogs for research use.  She said that by calling people and asking if they have a small dog they then can get a list of people who have small dogs.  They then have people in the vicinity who go and steal the poor dog/dogs from their families.  She said to make a police report.

Got a call from this number and no message - very annoying.

This number called and is an unlisted land line and we do not know who or what the party at the end of the line is or wants.

I found this person who has been at the root of this. His Name is Mike Chase, owner of a Database Marketing, Inc. Give him a call for yourself....this is his personal home phone number and address: (208) 772-8293 7512 N 4th St, Dalton Gardens, ID 83815-8737. I'm sure he'll appreciate a call at his house. Here's his business line...might as well leave a message there as well.(208) 667-6887

After much sleuthing...I believe we have our man. All it really took was knowing that this was a little common sense. Telemarketing companies deal in databases all the time. Coeur D Alene, Idaho couldn't have that many. A few phone calls and a couple of other tricks and voila...
