did not pick up - no message left

Got a call before lunch time from this phone number 212-121-2121. A man with heavy indian accent. He said that I won a prize (plasma TV or $1000 in cash) & why I had not picked it up yet.  He said I filled up a ballot on January 2007 & that my spouse's name had come up.  Well, I don't fill out ballot neither does my spouse. He said I can go pick it up in woodbridge ON (216 Chrislea Rd Woodbridge L4L 8S5) or they can come over to our house.  He had my addresss & my spouse's name. I asked him what he was selling, cus nothing is free.  And winning prizes out of the blue like this is totally not true.  He said they do have a promotional item that they are showing. So I asked him to never call my number again and to not come to my house cus I would call the cops & have him arrested for harrasment. He kept saying that I won a prize & would not get off the phone.  I told him to Fxxx off many times & that if he would call back I would send the cops on him & put him in jail.

Got this call on my work PDA.How the hell they get my company issued PDA number.I answered the phone some indian [***] tried selling valium.I told him i needed viagara not valium lol.This threw him for a loop when I said i needed about $500 worth cuz my gf was nympho and needed to be laid 3 times a day.He Hung up!!!so far no calls back.

They just left me a lovely message in an Indian language. I have no idea where these people would have gotten my number.... bridal expo a few years ago? I'm registered on the do not call list. I've been getting quite a few calls from these random numbers lately though. Not ok!

Got a call just now. Answered on cordless which does not have call display,
before I could say anything a recording came on saying "This is Shelly and I want to talk to you about your credit card account."  I pressed ## and hung up. We don't use credit cards so no one would be calling us about same.  Had I been in the room with phone with caller ID, this would not have been answered.

I received a call today from this number, with a lady asking me if the owner of the house was available. I said no, you are calling a cell phone. She said she knew she was calling a cell phone but was I the owner of the house. I said what house. She said the house you are in. I said I am at work... and that I do not own the house I live in (I was wondering how much longer I could have kept her going for but as I was at work didn't want to waste too much of my own time). She said okay thank you for your time and was gone.

she is a cheater!

It was a garbled message about lowering interest rates on credit cards that I don't even have.

This recorded message comes on when I answer talking about lowering credit card interest rates and when I hit 1 to talk to an operator about taking my number off their list I get a male responder with an east indian accent who asks, "how are you today mam?" when I respond with, "annoyed" he preoceeds to repeat annoyed several times before telling me how he's going to rape me... very descriptive about anatomy with slang terms. I hang up. I will try a whistle and hopefully deafen this pig of a person!

212 is the area code of some areas in New York-

I am on the do not call list and they still call

I got a call from this number, I answered it and no one was there.. makes me mad

This guy called my mom and said he was the IRS and got her information.. then once she cancelled her bank account he called again and said she has money at a Western Union waiting on her and needed her bank account again... This guy is a scammer... dont not believe him...

I answered and the guy on the other end said he was calling from the United States Govt and I had been selected to receive a $7,000 grant. I said what do I have to do? He said nothing. I said then why are you calling me? He asked me how I wanted to receive the money, by checking account, savings account or debit card? I laughed at him and hung up the phone. Scary thing was they knew my name??

this guy has been clln me for 2 days, he does have a strong accent and he also told me i was one of the few 1500 selected to recieve $7000. and he wanted to know how i would spend it. He verified all my info and ask me how i wanted the money sent to me. Debit, credit or checking acct? i told hime to send me a chck and he said he could not do that. He said I was selected because i file my taxes on time, pay my bills on time and have good credit. i wonder where they get our info? i do not to give my info out to any ole person...

Received a call from this number on 08Feb10 around 7PM from someone with an indian accent and identified himself as working from the US Government supposedly giving you free money.  I didn't entertain the call and just hung up.  I had experience the same phone calls in the past.  These people are obviously trying to steal your personal information.

I got this call twice. Once today telling me i was being given a $7,000 us grant from the us treasury and that he would mail me a check..

I have recieved 3 calls from this number.  The first call was on the 13th of Feb 2010.  The other two came today Feb 15, 2010.  Today I answered, but they just hung up.  I am a female, maybe they are looking for men only?  Should I deepen my voice and see if they take the bait?

Call here today @ 5:28 PM I didn't answer the phone never saw a number like this before
