I'm recovering from breast cancer surgery, this # 1 212 121 2121 won't stop callng me!!!!!!!!!!
This # wakes me every morning and calls during the afternoon, then calls again in the evening hours.
When I answered they told me the government selected my cell # (but they were calling my home #)
and I had won $7,000.00 that I didn't have to pay back,.......I told them I'll put my husband on the phone because he's a lawyer to get the fine details. He asked for a manager & phone # where they can be reached they put him on hold & never came back.
I want it stop already.
This is ridiculous that I can't even heal in the privacy of my own home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a call 2/24/10 at 5:25 pm did not answer no message

This # has called many times. I finally got caller ID. They say they are a National Credit Bureau & I own $12,000. and they can help me. I only have to pay 1/2 of it. I don't own anyone any 12K or any amount on a cr. card.
I asked nicely many times to take my name off, that didn't work, I used language I normally do not use, they called back.
Usually the calls are at dinnertime. Now I'm getting them at noon time.
How are they getting away w/ this? These are all "masked" phone #'s.
The FTC told me to contact my States Attorney General's office. I did, they just mailed me complaint forms to fill out.

Some idiotic jerk that could not even speak english called on a saturday morning and when the machine picked up he left a rude and annoying message.  I would love to find out who he is and meet him fist to face.

This number called at 12:28pm today, let it go to voice mail, they did not leave a message.

I just received a call from this number.  It was a foreigner who said that my number (what number he's talking about? no clue...) had been drawn and that I had won a $10,000 grant from the government.  Ha!  Yeah, right!  This government has no money!  So I said, "This has to be a scam."  There was a long pause...I told the guy I would be billing him for wasting my time...

I was told i got a grant for school for 15K so as I was giving him my address, something just came over me and at that time he asked for my DOB then i said send me the info...I think he should be tracken down and charged because he acted like he was representing a gov't agency.

They have called home 3 times and my cell too. I don't know how they got my number, they say is from Richmond Hill Centre???? Offering low price mortgages. I asked not to call back, and since I told them so, it got worse. If they ever call you and you answer, tell them you rent. They will never call back.

just got this number today. guy knew my house number and kept asking for a cell phone number. yelled at him and hung up

I just got a call from this number on Wed, Aug. 18. It was an foreign sounding woman saying I had received a govt grant of $10,000 that I would never have to pay back. They said I received this money because I had no criminal record, had good credit, and a couple of other things I was not paying attention to.

Then to confirm I was who I was, they read to me my own information and asked me to verify if it was correct. They knew my full legal name, address, zip code, cellphone number (duh that's how they called) and a few other personal info that made me think they were legit. She then gave me a number to call and a confirmation code and told me to confirm my grant with them.

I have not called, I looked up the number and found this website. I am happy to learn that this number was a scam and hope everyone can learn from us.

Got a bunch of calls from this number, finally answered because call back never worked, and got an India man who said he worked for the Department of Human Services in Washington, D.C. Said he was calling cause they wanted to give me $10,000 in grant money. Looked it up and couldn't find crap on it ......now my two kids are getting the same call...i even advised him on phone he was soliciting minors but hasn't slowed them down....don't really know what to do or where they got our cell numbers from unless they are viewing our contracts and that's SCARY

12121212121 - [***] keep calling asking for the Owner of the 2 companies I work for (called both lines within 15 minutes) when explained I can help them she hung up!!! Had problems a while back with 11111111111....how the hell do companies even generate these numbers?? GRRRRR!!!!

I received the same call.  They said something, but I could not understand.
Makes me wonder if they are trying to get access to phone.  All these smart phones are internet based and vulnerable.

Indian Dude said my comp was sending Microsoft Corp errors & was going to crash!! Wanted me to run a program off the web to let him access my comp. I talked like a mexican (sorry bruthas no offence) to lead him him on. He had me run event log viewer. So he sounded It savey. He kept says he would SHOW me the errors. i had how I fix then he said $70 program they had. When I finaly said I wasnt going to let him on my mach & he hung up. [***].

Indian man said he was calling from the Windows Technical Department about errors on my computer. He wanted me to go to my computer. Not sure what he wanted me to do. I hung up.

I received a call from this number last night and the foreign speaking male asked for me by name.  He said there was a problem with my computer I was using at home.  I asked what kind of problem and he said my computer was sending messages to computers at a location to which I could never understand what he was saying.  I let him speak with my husband because he deals with our computers problems and he told my husband the same thing.  He told my husband if he would just reboot our computer and allow him to enter our computer, he would fix the problem.  My husband told him absolutely not and hung up.  Neither my husband nor I could ever understand his name or what company he was with.

Two days ago received call stating I had applied for a job.  I can assure them I had not.
Another call today...did not answer, but answering machine records only "good-bye".

Keep getting unwanted calls from this number and they just hang up!!

I got a call from this number 4 times, the first three I didn't answer, and I just got this phone and new number about 2 weeks ago. This Indian guy (with a VERY strong accent) asked for the previous owner of this number, when I told him I just got this number and phone (sadly telling him my first name)  and he kept on asking me who the owner of my computer was,  and that there was a problem on my computer and he works for Microsoft Windows,  and the problem I had on my computer was sent to him. He demanded to know who the owner of the computer was and to get on it so he can help me.  I told him that my screen is broken on my laptop and I haven't been on in months,  and that I don't have the money to get my screen fixed (to which he said 'Oh, you don' t have the money... ' so I was very suspicious at that point).  I also told him I have no idea what my number on my phone has anything to do with my computer, and how he had any idea about my number or computer, and that he should be contacting the previous owner of this phone and take it up with them.  He kept saying I was wrong, and kept repeating the same, very scripted message about how an error was sent to him,  he works for Microsoft, and to tell him the owner of the computer, which I never told him.  I started laughing because I thought for a second that I was stupid for not understanding him, then he asked me why I was laughing. Then I realized, that's pretty informal, and I don't think Microsoft would hire a man that you could barely understand to represent them. So I just hung up,  because he' s a stupid money sucker. Point being, just don't pick up if this number calls you.
