got 6 calls no messages from this # -???

Called me the last 2 mornings, didn't answer, no message, who are these people? Is it the Allied Interstate Collection group? I saw that comment on the previous page, but the commenter referenced a totally different number. Best to just ignore this or what?

Have received 94 calls in past 24 hours from 212-260-1308!! no message left on my machine.

keep getting calls from this number today.  did a reverse lookup and found this:

called today--and no answer when i called back.

Received 3 calls form this number in 2 days - caller ID says Central Research.  No one on other end.

I called the number listed above, got a person, and told them to take my number off their lists.  I suggest everyone do the same - good information "Sleuth"

I have been getting repeated calls from them for weeks as either "unknown caller" or Centreal Research".  Normally they hang up but one person actually stayed on the line when I answered.  I told her we do not participate in surveys and to stop calling.
The calls have persisted so I filed an online complaint with the FCC.  This is taken very seriously and is very effective.  It will take you 5-10 minutes to complete the form but it's worth it.  When I've done it in the past the called have stopped and never resumed.
Try it - www.fcc.gov - look for consumer complaints.

Some one called from this number but did not leave a message.

Same number calls many many times!  The call is coming from the New York Area but do not know who it is!

Who is this company?

I now use this number when ever I have to give a phone number 2122600070. I also have put this out a free call to win car or trip, They are getting at least 300 hit a day.
They said they do not respect the do not call list because they are doing market research not solicitation. So do all you can to bother them. It will stop.

This is BS and should be banned also.

You answer the phone and the grunthead hangs up without saying a word.

We have also been getting numerous calls a day from this phone number 212-260-1308. I called the number 212-260-0070 that I saw on this site. The man said he would remove my phone number from the call list and I would not receive any more calls. Hope so. Maybe if everyone would call and complain it would help.
