I didn't answer it. I was busy. The number 1-212-448-5501 belongs to SRBI Inc., a Phone Survey / Market Research Company.

I am registered in the NDC as well and these people called me at 5.27pm didn't leave a message.  I get calls form different numbers, why did I registered if I'm still going to get these people calling?!

the message says that they are from the federal commission and wanted to find out about cell phone usage. ugh i wished they would stop!

On March 28 I received a call form this no. Origination on my bill shows Everett, WA. Who is this?

I too am on the DNC list and get numerous calls a day.  I do not answer and there is no message left.  Legitimate surveys will leave a message.  So frustrating!

calls all the time...3-5 times a week...no one there...hangs up.  so i now just let my answering machine screen calls...and never answer

this # just called in cincinnati, oh at 8:02pm EST today. didn't answer because i figured it was a sales type call. found this site and glad i didn't answer.

This is a Do Not Answer the phone, and no not deal with these people number. This is a telephone survey and sales company who ignores the DNC. They will claim to be exempt since they are doing surveys. But when you ask them not to call you again, they simply hang up and call back later. Many people have reported this number, I love doing these in the blogs here.

They will call very early, very late, and show up with an unavailable number. if you call them back, for some reason, that boundary of commercial line vs residential line, they can get your number even if you choose to block it. Thank you phone company lobbyists for f...ing over consumers and helping your friends the telephone marketing industry.

Anyway, they will claim to be doing a survey for many organizations includign Amtrak, Unniversity of Pennsylvania, and business you may have done business with. But not likely. They will also call for hospital surveys where you stayed. Even though you have never been to that hospital. This is just predictive dialer mass surverys for cheap cash from bad business people.

#1 - keep them on the phone. This will stop them from [***] annoying someone else.
#2 - keep them on the phone to get a sales pitch
#3 - ask who the survey is for, contact them to complain about this garbage. Most people who hire survey firms are under the impression that these scumbags will honor the DNC, even if they do not have to. The DNC is mandatory for some, but ethically all should be following it. That they don’t just proves they are organizations you DO NOT want to do any business with.

#4 - they will call asking for dead, divorced or bogus names - say that youa re them. See #1

#5 - ask these people if you can help them get a better job. Belittle them, explain that you are sorry they are under educated and this is the best job they can get. Ask when they came to this country. Even if they speak perfect English, treat them as ignorant illegal immigrants.

Telemarketers are scumbags never forget it

Well, I have figured out that it is the National Do Not Call Registry that is selling all of our phone #'s. My phone is a cell phone that is unlisted and the only one that I have registered it with is the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. IT IS OBVIOUS!!! When these people are reported to them, there is nothing done. SO.....IT HAS TO BE THEM THAT IS SELLING US OUT!!!!!!

Sorry, but American Funds has nothing to do with government research, "Informed". It sounds as if you are not as informed as you should be.

Called at 7:20pm CST to my cell phone, did not leave message.  3rd time they called this month.

Well, Mr Super Really informed.  It's nice that you work for this company.  Could you kindly tell me how to get them to stop calling my cell phone 8-12 times a day, after I told them to stop calling and take me off their list?  What does your company policy say about that?

Well if you are informed, let me ask you this, why in the world would they ask such questions as do i take medicines, do I exercise daily and what do I do for exercise, when was the last time I had sex, and how often do I have sex. Yes, these are the questions he asked. So WHY, Informed, may I aske do they NEED to know this personal info to see if YOUR and MY tax money is being spent wisely? Talk about ignorance.

You work for them, huh? I don't need a survey to know that my money is NOT being spent correctly.

I have been getting calls from 2124485501 since last month (06/10) twice a day! they start appx. 7 am and the last call will be around 8:54 pm! they never leave a message. I do not answer unkown numbers. This is very frustrating! I am registered with the DNC

Next time we get a call from you, we'll file a formal complaint with the FCC. And don't even think of spamming this email address -- or face the consequences. Scumbags."
