Who is callim me at this number

said they are conducting a survey for the massachusetts department of public health

I am gettin multiple calls from this number.

Supposed "survey" takers. Probably a telemarketing scam. Keeps calling.

I googled the number and it came back to Shulman Ronco, NY, NY. I googled the company, then called the company phone and left this message. "Someone in your company with the phone # 212-448-5501 has been calling a lot of folks and leaving no message or saying anything". If they are a respectable co., they should be able to find who is using that phone and do something about it.

I've been radomly getting calls from this number the last few weeks. Last night a message was left. But when I listened to it, it was the voicemail message of someone named Joes' voicmail. How did someones vmail message get on my phones voicemail? Must have been using 3 way calling or something. Def not something a legit company would do!

This company claims to be with the NJ/NY River Port Authority and looking to discuss transportation and shipping.  He kept asking me questions about how much tonage is in our vehicles when we transport.  We are from Philadelphia, PA.  I explained we don't travel to that area, never have, never will, and we are not a shipping company.  This guy just didn't seem to get that as he kept asking questions about our shipping and transporting anyway.  It made absolutely no sense.

Called the other day at 6:15 PM just as I was on my way out the door. Represented themselves as the "Public Policy Institute of California".  I told them I did not have time to talk.  They called back today at exactly the same time. Now that I know who it is,  I did not answer.

This number continually calls me and doesn't leave a message. They've been calling for two weeks straight (on the weekdays) during the same time range each time 6:30-7:30.
Read about these "survey" telemarkers on this site and many others. I hope something gets
done about these predators!!!

They call everyday, never leave a message, says unavailable on call ID so I don't answer.

No message......I call back get busy signal  I too, am on the State and Federal DNC list!

Same for me as years of history above.  I added their number in my caller ID so I know right off not to answer.

Claims he is from the "Dept of Defense".  It is not possible to call him back at this number.  He is bogus.

The 212 448 5501 no. is a Verizon line and is attached to SRBI which is a data collecting, public opinion, survey conducting interest. IThey do alot of differing survery and data collecting and even employee evaluation. I have an unlisted number, but I guess someone got hold of it and gave it to these folks.

Calles in the evening - weekends!  YUK!  I don't answer and they don't leave messages.

The caller identified themselves as a company called SRBI conducting a research about product and services in my area.  I live near a hospital that recently went out of business and I suspect it was about gauging communty sentiment about lack of health care in my area.  This conclusion is solely based on their web site that indicates lots of research done in the healthcare industry and the current community issues regarding the hospital.  I pressed them about how they got my number and first got the generic "from the computer" answer.  When asked where "the computer" got my number I received the first seemingly plausable answer, that they enter an area code and exchange and it randomly select the last four digits.  Still I didn't want to answer any questions so i just played dumb and slowly said things like "Hello?" and "Is this a good time for what?" when asked if this was a good time (presumably to parcipate in a survey which was not explicitly asked).  I figure if I can waste their time then I can spare someone else from having to talk with them.  They might be legit but who knows these days.  They could be someone just trying to phish some personal information from me.

The call was a public opinion survey. They were not trying to sell anything or get any personal information.

Annoying calls oer and over again do not leave msg will not give the name of the company ....  fraud???
