Report a phone call from 212-601-9695 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- 212-601-9695Wow. I got a call from this number without a voicemail so I called back to see who it was and got the whole "verification, please hold", but I hung up b/c I had no clue what application it might be for. I've applied for numerous things. If I don't know a number..I also google it first to possibly see who it was.
- CalebThey just called me on my cell as well, but I ignored it. I'd applied for several jobs online about a month and a half ago or so, but I have a job now. Hope my info isn't in danger of being used for other purposes or being sold to other buyers for spamming or worse.
- KateI filled on an online application for career network then I continued to receieve the same type of e-mails for other postions asking me to fill out additional information. I figured it was related to this process. Thank you all for the heads up on the information they would be asking. I'm not calling them back.
- Caller: Employer Select
- RoyceYeah, they called me a few mins ago, and made we wait and then the call dropped, the automated call that is, and the I called them back and I too like everyone else above this comment said, "I got a automatiated recording which put me on hold on my cell phone while I was at work, for about 3 mins and then someone picked up and asked for me by name and wanted to know if I was available for 3 - 4 mins for a recording pre screening for a position for a Job. It seemed professional, the guy told me that someone would be contacting me in a few days for a interview. Invert Solutions was the name he gave me, who knows????? I have my resume all over the place, I do want a new job, so Im' just gonna Pray that It's all good in Jesus's Name!
- Caller: Invert Solutions
- JenI recieved a call this morning from this number. I had submitted and application to what i thought was a day care on craigs list about a month ago. I however, was not asked for my social security, just my adress and phone number and references. About a week later I recieved an email from the company that was running the website...i forget their name) Then the questions became WAY TOO PERSONAL for a job...so I stopped my application (but the first part had already been sent) since then I have recieved several phone calls from weird numbers such as 506-223-94370 and 506-220-8428...I DID NOT PICK UP ANY OF THESE CALLS. the numbers that were too long, were obviously scam or telemarketers, and this was all on my cell phone, so I do not pick up any numbers i dont know....there for i did not pick up the 212-601-9695 number...i received a voicemail...a recording telling me to hold on the line because a representative was interested in talking to me about a career oppurtunity and then the call just ended. THIS NUMBER IS A SCAM....i will never again apply online to a company i dont know
- MarieThey just called my cell phone. I have applied for a few jobs on Craigs List so I'm sure it has something to do with a job that I applied for. However, some of the companys on craigs list want you to fill out forms for continuing education and debt solutions. They wanted me to list references but I was afraid they would get solicited, too.

- RobThe same thing happened to me they said someone will be on the line to verify and after a moment I hung up. I dialed *69 got the number and called back the same thing happened to me again. What the heck? Is there going to be an enormous phone bill on my next bill? I sure hope not.
- SarahI received a call from this number a few hours ago with a message that cut off. Like some of the previous posters, I had given information to Career Network in regards to an application for a job before I found out that the website is listed on the internet as a job scam site. It's probably a good idea to refuse to give them your information. I had already given them information for references before I figured out that it was not legitimate.

- DJI got a call from this number this morning at 11:36 EST. Since I didn't recognize the number, I didn't answer it and no message was left.
I answered a posting on Craigslist about an at-home job which resulted in them asking for application information, including my cell number, home number, and cell provider. I should have known better but was hoping this job was real, and gave my cell number. MISTAKE! My new policy will be that if I answer an online posting and only receive communication via email, that's the end.
If they are really interested, they will contact me by mail with an application or by phone. Their loss. I would have been great at the job described (if it actually existed!- Caller: not provided
- Cynthiacalled at 9am, missed the call, called back and said they were "employment select" a pre screening company. am on hold right now...then it disconnects...wtf?

- CalebThey just called me again a couple minutes ago and I got a voicemail. Someone named "christy" with "employment select" started to ask for my phone number but realized i wasn't there and hung up. I was too desperate for a job when I applied with them and should've known it wasn't legit. They probably won't stop calling me now. May have to switch numbers to avoid them.
- JeffGot the call while at work. Didn't answer due to the area code being different then my states. I also gave out info to career network, I am pulling a credit report among other things. I would advise everyone else reading this to take a bit more precautions.
- ErnieI just received a call on my cell phone from 212-601-9695 at 10:09 CDT. After several minutes on hold waiting to speak to a "specialist" someone finally came on claiming to be a screener for a job I applied for online. First of all, I have applied for several jobs so it would be difficult for me to narrow it down as to which one was the culprit. They asked if now was a good time to go through the process and told me it would take 5 - 45 minutes. I asked that they call my land line and gave them the number (it was on my resume already anyway). They have not called back. Thanks for the tip on the scam!
- Tim H.I got a call from this number and was told to hold to verify information about for an unknown employer. After a minute or two I was disconnected. I believe they are just making sure they have valid phone numbers for sales calls. I two have applied to sites asking for my cell number and the email addresses of my references. I am sure that they are probably receiving such calls and emails as well. Does anyone know who this can be reported to?
- Caller: Employment Select
- Job Seeker in St. LouisAnother call and hang up - - when I called back they wanted to know informaiton that would have been on my resume

- TriYeah got the call about 30 min ago but didn't answer. Wow someone really is either desprate to make a rip off or really has nothing to do with their time. Anyway I doubt I will hear from them anytime soon.
