I got called at least 15 times in a 6 hour period while I was in classes taking tests etc.  What the heck.  Please make it stop!!!!

I hate this people they keep calling and when I call back I get a busy line then they call me back and hang up on me so I finally got to talk to them and they said it was a government loan so I told them to stop calling and they hanged up.

I don't know who this is or why they call has anyone figured this out??

Dont be fooled, people calling with that # are bunch of idiot they are scammers. They said they want to help me get a grant from the government something that I dint apply for. I stated receiving sms and strange calls after I got a new phone from "Criket". Am even thinking of deactivating the line. Because these guy uses the same number to sent msgs just like the just like criket. I once made a mistake of giving em my credit card no. And they withdraw some dough from my accout. I thought I was charmed.

Don't fall victim. You can even tease them as if you believe them but dont fall victim.

These lovely calls started for me as well three days ago. Until I found this site I thought I was losing my mind. Started at 7:24 am, 7:26, 7:27, 7:28, then 11:50, 11:52, 11:54 and then 1:30, 1:34, 1:38 and into the evening you get the idea. Govern't grant my foot....I called back and it's busy like everyone else. I owe no one anything except for utilities every month so....did we all win a free education and we just have to catch them!!! I already paid for school once, why would I do it again..

She asked me what my "government grant" was for, the one I supposedly requested online, "for personal or business" she asks. I said I did not request a government grant and she said she would remove my number from the list. But I did tell her that I looked up this blog and people aren't real happy with getting these sort of calls on their cell phones. She sounded more offended than I am/was. When I hung up the phone I thought for a second, wait, maybe I should have just gone with it to see how far it would go to add more info here for all of you that are having problems still. This all assumes that they are actually done calling me. We shall see, but, I did just change my cell phone number a few months ago and forgot to list it on the www.donotcall.gov site. Seriously, I had just got the email to confirm my registration on the do not call and I get yet another call of which I just explained. The whole thing was really really strange!

someone calls my cell phone from this number and says nothing and then just hans up!!!

I havent gotten any one to talk either itjust started today and happened three times so i searched it. is there anything we can do because it seems the do not call list doesnt work

This number has called me for 2 weeks. I finally talked to someone, and she told me it is regarding free federal money from the government. I told her I had not applied for a grant. She told me it would cost $1.00 for the information to be mailed to me. I told her I was not interested. I felt like it was a scam. The number was 213-430-4297

These people have been calling at least 20 times a day for 3 weeks. If I answer, they just hang up. No one ever talks. Reported to FCC, and I encourage you all to do the same

Caller stated this call was regarding an inquiry about government grants.  I asked him who made the inquiry and he said "ok, thank you" and hung up.  I received 4 calls this morning.

Great, I'm glad everyone has posted these reports. They started calling me today. I've received about 8 calls in the past two hours. This is ridiculous. What should I do?

I have received 14 calls from this number today, 5th October.  I have asked to not be called again.

They call me about 10 times a day and I cannot stand it!! I answer and they hang up. I call back and it says all circuts busy. I hate them!!! Who are they?

Called me 3 times today, left no voice mail.  Called number back,  received dead air then fast busy.

This is a telemarketer. Sometimes it's about federal grants, sometimes global marketing. All I know is this. I wish I knew who to report them to, since I am on the National Do-Not-Call list, have been for months. maybe next time I'll answer and lie to them that I have all their information & I'm reporting them to the authorities .

theses scum bags constantly call my cell!  i just called and they answer as a federal grant office.. i said to remove me from their call list and they said aliright!!  dumbasses!!!!

kinda the same, only they call me here and there tring to give me free money from the government??!! And im only 16, so that is illagal so offer under age kids money for some kind of loan from the govenment. So i contacted myfoxdetroit.com (my news area) and i told it to them on there problum solvers page, and now they are going in deep into this problum, they already did storys on these people!!! SO DONT EVER SAY YES 2 THEM, WHAT THEY DO IS ILLAGAL!!!
