I also get calls from 213-430-4297 about government grants, it is so annoying, and its harassing as many times as they call a day. One way to get rid of them is to go to google type in fcc, this is the federal communication commission. go to the main websit and put in a complaint. this works but they need enough complaints on this number to take action. please follow up with fcc.

This number keeps calling my tracfone at various times.

They call me about 10 times a day and it has been more than a coupe of weeks. When I called back I got busy signals. I got through once but it sounded like a machine answering me. It was very robotlike. When I asked to take my number off their list, it said "yea, yea, thank you.", then hang up.

i too have been getting calls from this number and it's from grand central station lol grand central station of what they dont say but they told me it's for free money from the government so i'm like ok fine if yall got my application i never filled out then what do i need and they say a credit or debit card so they can send me my already approved application (lol) all i gotta do is pay shipping. Yeah right what a crock, they told me if i got a friend or someone they can bill so i can get my free money (lmao)

these people keep calling - no one is there - they are calling my trac phone constantly

Stop wasting your time with the No call registery they don't do anything.  Call your local police department!!  This is harrassment and is illegal. If enough people file charges they'll loose enough money to make it no longer worth their while to harrass people.

this call came this morning and told me I had requested some form of grant money, I said I did not need any grant money and please take me off their call list.

They have called 29 times in three days. They are a company in NY, NY who looks for grants for you. I think they are a dirty rig of a company.

My husband is the one they are trying to reach. They refuse to leave a message with me. They called five times yesterday - finally talked to my husband and said that someone in our household requested government grant information (which isn't true). They didn't give him a chance to say "don't call back", but I'm faithfully reporting every call they make to our phone number to the do not call registry. If everyone reported every call, they'd soon be fined by the FCC. It takes a lot of complaints to get them to move, so complain all you can to the Do Not Call Registry website:   https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx   Make sure you've been registered 30 days before you make your first complaint.

Same exact senerio as defined by others..  Have recently relocated to another State..have a new cell and #..few if anyone has MY number..and I received 6 repeated calls this evening while at work.... I (as typical) let it go to voice mail fully-expecting a message to be left ..however no message left.  I too, called this number and was repeatedly cycled thru their on-going "your call is next, pls hold

They have been calling several times a day for the past several weeks.  I have never answered their call.

They are calling me 4-5 times a day,always with same explanation-"you applied for money from the goverment"which is not true.Every time there is a real person on the line.No mater how many times I told them to stop-no result.
I think they are stealing information from somewhere,because they are sending me e-mails about the same thing.They are called-Grants for Citizens.
If somebody know how to stop this,please advise.

I registered a complaint with the National Do Not Call registry, this was their responce to me

This company really does suck!  NEVER put your real phone number in an internet site!  I think the next time I fill out info on one of those boggus sites, I'm going to put their phone number in as mine.  See if they like getting called fifty times a day one right after another!

About 2 weeks ago I started receiving calls from this number 3-4 times a day. I pick up but no one answers. They don't leave a message. I have not tried calling back. I figure if it is important enough they will leave a message. I just blocked the number. Problem solved.

213-430-4297 has called me 37 times since 8/7/09. One day they called 9 times in an hour. I have told them to stop calling at least 10 times and my grandma and my fiancee have called them as well to stop calling me. They gave me 877-495-1145 to call as their customer service number and I told them to stop calling and that didn't work either because the 877-495-1145 didn't know anything about the grant center office and they said they had been getting complaints about the 213-430-4297 for a long time. This is harassment and I have found tons of websites with complaints like this I don't understand why something hasn't been done yet.

The calls are 5-4 a day telling me I requested information about Government grants .. their robotic and sometime in person calls ask about what is the need of the grant ..business education, personal, etc  I try to explain I never requested any info .. they have a free disc to send but will not except COD  they want your credit card info over the phone .. as soon as you don't comply they hang up only to continuing to call you over and over like a USC Title 15 breach under sec 1692 fair debt collection practices act under phone abuse and harassment..I did over many attempt explained I would be contacting the NH attorney General office on Monday 8/17/09
