7-11-2014 (214-283-1316 Caller ID says WIRELESS CALLER.  Hung up when answering machine came on.

I just got a call from this number.  I did not answer and they did not leave a message.   Since they did not leave a message I assume they are telemarketers and so I have added this number to my blocked call list.  

My phone number has been on the National Do Not Call Registry since August 2003 so if they are telemarketers, they are violating the law.

To block calls like this I got a Panasonic KX-TGE245B that allows me to block up to 250 numbers and/or area-codes.  Panasonic has several new 2014 models that will block that many numbers.  You simply save the CID to the blocked list.  You can also block area codes by adding them to what they call a “Range List” (you are blocking the range of numbers starting with that area code).

I'm so sick of these calls.  My phone does not have the blocking ability, and when I had one that did have that feature, it would hold only 30.  They just make a slight change in their number and there they are again.  It seems the only solution is to not have a phone.

Call from this number came in while I was out to dinner. Left a message of some kind of garbled nonsense about a survey. Obviously I didn't answer, & will be watching for further calls from these idiots.

Says Unknown Name when calling. I didn't answer call. Caller left no message. I contacted via internet Texas Attorney General Office's about the call and reported the number. I'm on the Do Not Call List.

I found out through the help of a lady from Premiere Care Bath company yesterday that our dear nosey neighbor who works for the local electric company has used our personal information set up on the online account to retailiation for calling the police for this man dumping waste on our front lawn -literally.   We've been called non stop since June from these people- block, block, block and block  - what good does it do? Was on the phone until 2 am with phone company internet provider to learn quote unquote -contact law enforcement.  Same thing on Saturday with the rep from Premiere Care Bath -she said "hey we've spoken many times before haven't we - were you online the last 20 minutes filling out our information" -=NO 'she said someone is typing in all your information nonstop on our website because I remember talking to you before.   Since confronting our nosey neighbors to stop being nosey and installing cameras for our safety -this is how they retaliate.  Think it's paranoid?  Nope -last 2 residents who rented this residence before we bought it had the same experience.  They call the electric company and ask how does the girlfriend of a utility worker know our account information and telling everyone she see's?  What does the electric company do?  They give him week vacation with pay -happened with both sets of renters.  I thought it was crazy when they told me but when we complained years ago -same thing. Suspended with pay -yeah he's angry and stands outside all day at the garage door with a cigarette glaring at your front door.  Stalkers? Oh yeah.  What does our local law enforcement here in Caldwell County NC do? NOTHING.  Called them Friday morning when I took photos and videos of this volunteer fire dept captain of Patterson is dumping buckets of debris trash and waste onto my front yard at 7:30 a.m and not at work?   Why did our law enforcement even bother coming out here?  I've had death threats in my mailbox from these two -I was told 3 years ago June by the Captain of Detectives that he's not touching this and it's not worth his time.  Since then -these two have carefully and calulcatingly figured out ways to torment.  I can guarantee that out of 10 years of complaints of trespassing, listening to phone calls through the scanner, staring at us 24/7, loosening lug nuts on my car, nails under every car -even children's car -glass onto driveway, shooting our cats with beebee guns - I can guarantee if I went to get a copy of a report, even the death threat -not ONE complaint would be found anywhere.  When your mom/dad sit on the board of directors -once owned an adhesives company, think you and them own the world and control everyone around you -i guess you do feel like Diplomatic Immunity.  The cocky deputy who drove up Friday -don't know why he even bothered stopping - he wasn't out of my driveway 2 minutes when he drove back with an excuse "he's planting pumpkin seeds"....he won't do it again.  I asked him if he called the property owner of the lot across the road -mere feet he said YES.  I learned later in the day from the property owner when she came to inspect her property -no one had even called or came by and she's an early riser.  We've been warned by the entire subdivision when we moved here -I am angry for not listening.  The school principal warned us, the store owners warned us, the retirees warned us, the youth pastor and choir leaders warned us, the other municipalities police department workers warned us -the farmer of the adjacent mountain land behind our property warned us  - the previous residents and I have compared stories and it's incredible.  The demons have been home about 1 hour from a weekend from hell probably -and the daily drunked captain of the fire dept stands out in 30 degree wind talking on the phone staring at our front door....less than 1 hour home and our call comes from the telemarketer of the day.  Thank you nosella Annette.   I am waiting for the phone call number change to take effect.  Will we even get any law enforcement officer or agency to listen? I guess I have to ask the Governor for help on this one since he gave a speech in Feb this year regarding litter bugs and stalkers.  Think you know your neighbors on the utility pole? The school cafeteria sociopath? These same two have accessed our personal information we had set up online with the utility company and had a security light installed....neighbors huh?  Lucky us.   The lady from Premiere Care was actually helpful -the calls that continue to come in after a weekend of silence -a dead giveaway.   Also people beware of using a cordless home phone with a fireman next door -our neighbor, the school secretary/avon lady let us know she walked up on our neighbors in the garage one day listening to my phone conversation and they tried their best to play it off.  When you switch carriers-even a web phone -they still have access to listen to your calls.  At least this psycho does - explains all the times our names get tossed to Fireman's Association Fund.  Nonstop and every telephone number owned since living here seems to be given out when carefully guarded.  Figured it out -our angry neighbor who has no other way to come at this family.  Thank you CCSD for doing nothing as always.

An automated public opinion survey call. I was surprised when I checked my Google Voice Contacts and noticed that this same phone number called me in March and November of 2012, and again in October 2013, all using the same phone number. They do offer the option for Do Not Call so I guess that makes calling from different phone numbers unnecessary. By the same token, it makes blocking them easy.

As a survey/public opinion research poll they are exempt from the Federal Do Not Call list, but it is my opinion that they have a moral obligation not to call people who have placed themselves on the list, rather than making those people opt out after receiving a call from them. Do you agree?

[female voice] "Hello, I'm calling from Pulse Opinion Research and we're conducting a brief public opinion survey. Results from the survey will be made available to radio stations, TV stations and newspapers. If you are 18 or older press 1. If not, press 2. Thank you for that information.  Called 8:58 PM CST and for telemarketers that is
against the rules. I think telemarketing can only call until 8:00 pm.  But seeing as
the time is 8:58 PM perhaps the rule is until 9:00 pm, so yes, I would think a
telemarketing call

Dump your land line with cellphones you can cut the land line (cord). Phone company wont do a thing about the scams they are about the only customers they have left and cellphones have laws. So hang up your land line unless you are in a remote area or have a med alert service that you must keep for an emergency which you should report that your service is being delayed by auto dialer that will not disconnect from your line hoping you will talk to the scamers.  It should be against the law you can fight back. Good luck I have used many tools some work really good but I can't say.

Look up www.plugnblock.com. I got mine thru Amazon for under 40. Easy to hook up and works as advertised. No Mo Robo Calls! BTW, I have no affiliation with this company.

Eight years later and these bozos are still BUGGING people.  Called today, VALENTINE'S DAY, 2015.   Caller ID:  WIRELESS CALLIN".  No message left.  Now BLOCKED!
