Report a phone call from 215-220-2321 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- Anthony AustinSame as everybody else, wanted to argue with me. Told him I intended to report him. He didn't seem to be very worried.
- DeeI have been getting calles from this number every day. She asked me if my name is Sara. I said, who is this she said she is with the school and trying to contact one of the parents, The strange thing is she had my phone number but was calling from another state. I told her to put us on a do not calling list. I am having serious problems with my house being robbed no matter what we do I can't get it to stop and have gone to the police station 3 times already. I am not sure if they are calling to see if I am at home. At no point did she ask about my computer. I called the number back yesterday and it was a Walmart number and instructed me to presss1 to get my free $100,00 gift card, I presses one in trying to talk to a live person. I just sat there listing to music. I am going to contact Corporate office for Walmart tomorrow To find out what is going on with this number that is registered to them. I really hope they call again.
- 215-220-2321comes across caller id as Philadelphia school district but then ways then are from Microsoft and that my computer is not accepting updates but I know it is so I hung up
- Caller: philedelphia school district
- jayreceived call with CallerID showing as 215-220-2321 - but caller did not leave message
so i called the number back and it claimed to be about "we have a WalMart or Target $100 Gift Voucher"
"To receive your voucher, please press 1 now"
so i pressed 1 just for fun
and got connected to weird music and then eventually someone called "Angela" with a perfect USA accent "Are you calling about your $100 Walmart gift voucher?"
and when i said nothing, she hung up- Call type: Telemarketer
- MarkyMark| 1 replyFunny. I work at Microsoft. My wife had too. Received this call from a foreign male stating that he was from Windows technical support and their report showed my computer wasn't updating...and that I needed to press the Control key plus another key on my computer. I played stupid for a bit, but felt an urge to call him out. He than stated my wife's name (pronouncing it wrong) and asked about her computer. I should have played along a bit longer to get a better understand what they are attempting to have unsuspected victims do. Unfortunately, once I challenged him and stated that I work for Microsoft and have no issues with my machine, he hung up. Important piece here is that it appears that they not only have our numbers, but our names as well. If anyone has an opportunity to receive this call and reads this, play along with the caller, just do not perform any actions on your machine. We need to identify what they are requesting users to perform. It is obviously a scam.

Avoid tech support phone scams
Cybercriminals don't just send fraudulent email messages and set up fake websites. They might also call you on the telephone and claim to be from Microsoft. They might offer to help solve your computer problems or sell you a software license. Once they have access to your computer, they can do the following:
◾Trick you into installing malicious software that could capture sensitive data, such as online banking user names and passwords. They might also then charge you to remove this software.
◾Take control of your computer remotely and adjust settings to leave your computer vulnerable.
◾Request credit card information so they can bill you for phony services.
◾Direct you to fraudulent websites and ask you to enter credit card and other personal or financial information there.
Neither Microsoft nor our partners make unsolicited phone calls (also known as cold calls) to charge you for computer security or software fixes.

They are clearly scammers! Dont give out info!
- AndrewSame thing above. The person called from (215) 220-2321 and my phone said "Pennsylvania Call" and that is the state I live in. So I just said you needed to take some English lessons obliviously if you want to be a Microsoft worker. So I said remove me from the list. Then I hung up. 10 sec. later, my phone rings. "Microsoft Worker" said that I needed to update my computer. And I said the same thing above. So then another 10 sec. later, my phone rings. The "Microsoft Worker" called me a As**hol*. So I hung up. After that the phone rings. I answer, but leave it alone. Then about a minute later, I scream as loud as I could (Scared my daughter down stairs ;). So then I lay it down again and 5 min. later, I blow this whistle. And the whistle was from a Titanic museum so it was loud. Then the "Microsoft Worker" screamed and hung up. That is how I got the "Microsoft Worker" to STOP CALLING.
- Caller: "Microsoft" Update Error
- Call type: Prank
- Andrew replies to jazzoThat what happen to me. I called back also and it said about Walmart gift cards.
- pete_swissguardHas called 5 times today alone. Most times, no one is on the other line – occasionally, after a long silence, a short chime will be heard and a robotic voice (female) says "goodbye". Stupid. Caller ID displays "WIRELESS CALLER"... Once before I have received a call similar to what others are experiencing; a man with a very heavy Indian accent saying he is a "Microsoft technician", but I cannot recall if it was from this same number.
- B. whiteSaid my computer was not accepting critical updates. Seemed to be phishing.
- NAForeign accent. Hard to understand. Said he was a tech from GC3 (?) whom I had hired to fix my computer. Told home I had no computer here. Hearted if my name was John. I said no. He apologized and hung up. What a scam!
- Caller: GC3
- michaelCalling about the fictitious Microsoft error warning. 100% scammers. Microsoft has a warning link about this.
http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/security/online-privacy/avoid-phone-scams.aspx - frustrated with scammershe just called me and said he was calling about my windows computer, I told him if he kept calling me I was going to sue him, he called me back and asked if I wanted his number so I could sue him. the number on my caller ID is to Wal-Mart,/ fake voicemail
- MarkyMark replies to MarkMark| 1 replyReceived another call, this time I played along.
The foreign-male voice stated that he was Jake from Windows support.
Here is what they are requesting you to do...
1. Get in front of your computer.
2. Press Ctrl+{Windows Key}+R
3. In Run box, enter INF and click Enter.
This pulls up a C:\Windows\Inf and asked if I could identify any files in this directory (it is a Windows directory).
I stated, "No"
Then they had me open my browser and enter: http://www.calderatech.com/
Jake stated that he would be connecting me to his senior technician, named Melvin.
Melvin confirmed with me that I had the website open and wanted to click on a big green button.
DO NOT CLICK ON THIS BUTTON-This green button is dangerous; as, it has an executable behind the link: http://www.calderatech.com/RemoteSupport/Caldera-Tech_Remote_Support.exe
This will install their application on your machine to allow them to take full control. - MarkyMark replies to EveReceived another call, this time I played along.

{read more after accessing the link above...} - loufur replies to MarkyMarkJust received a call from the above indicating that he was from a repair service representing MS Windows and that they detected a problem witn my Windows. Told him that I don't have MS Windows but Anderson's and the only problem is they are dirty.
He hung up - Almost ScammedI just received the same call with the name and accent. I got to the point of downloading the Team Viewers software and my computer prompted a warning of which I read to "Steve" and he said to just click the ok button. I refused and asked him for his phone number so that I could call him back. He insisted that he call me back in a couple of days. I told him that I wanted his phone number so I could call him at my convenience. He then abruptly hung up.
