- DavisCaller called himself "Microsoft Tech Support"
(He called me, I didn't call them. )
He said his name was Jason.
(it wasn't, unless they are calling guys in Delhi by the name of Jason nowadays.)
He said my computer was not responding. (I said it never WILL respond to people who try to get into it.)
I then told him that I had done tech support for 16 years, and that I knew a liar when I heard one.
I wished him a good day and hung up.
Tech support does not call you first.. EVER. - Sue S.Same as everyone else except it was a woman and she wanted to remotely fix my computer. I said NO and she recommended that I call my local computer technician to get it fixed. HA.
- Caller: Unclear claimed they're contracted by Microsoft
- Marfa| 1 replyI got the same call just now, from a "MS Technician". He said that my computer was sending me strange messages and he wanted me to give him my ISP. I laughed at him and hung up. Obvious phishing call. Are they getting that stupid? LOL

- ashley replies to EveThis number has been calling my phone for the last 2 weeks. They never leave messages but when answered yesterday my husband told the to stop calling my phone and a few other choice words. They had asked for someone is never heard of then said they were giving away a free trip. They called 3 times before noon today. I answered the 3rd time and told them I was calling the police because they are harassing me. They have not called again today... clearly a scam. Do not give them your time or information.
- KArensame as the other complaints. i told him i didnt have a pc and he tried to argue with me. ask what he wanted and he just sat there so i hung up
- Caller: school district
- atxWhen you call the number back they say you have called a Walmart or Target $100 gift card hotline. Press "1" to claim your gift card, which of course I didn't do.
- Izabellathis is a scam...please do not give them you info!
- A. FinderI was one of many persons to receive a cold call from someone saying he was a Microsoft contractor, Quick Comp Support, and they were receiving reports that my computer was not accepting Windows updates and he was calling to fix my problems. The Caller ID said School District with a PA prefix. He showed me the errors on my Event Log and wanted me to connect to his website computer so they could fix my errors. I was already pretty suspicious this was a dangerous scam, refused to connect to his url and asked him to call back in 15 minutes. While I was Googling his company and reading all the identity theft scam reports, another person called from the same number with the same pitch. I blocked their number: 215-220-2321. They should be investigated and shut down.
- Caller: Quick Comp Support
- Mrs.TYup same number called me, caller I D said school district too and heavily scented males stated he was Microsoft technichen and that the Microsoft main frame computer was reviving serious errors from my computer I just hung up. He started to get a little writes and kinda begged me to listen to him a little more then I asked him if he can see all this info about my computer them he could tell me what kind of computer I had, he proceeded to tell me I had a windows operating system I then said " oh that's weird because I have a Mac and I don't run a windows operating system at all and I recorded your call and am forwarding to my local police and FBI headquarters@ and I thanked him for his time. And wouldn't ya know it he hung up on me, guess I said somthing wrong lol any way of course I tried to call it back and of course it said it was no longer in sevice lol
- PeterGot a call from this number a couple minutes ago. Caller claimed to be from Microsoft and said my computer was also registering many errors with their global update server. I told him my computer was fine and hung up.
- samGot a call from this number today: 215-220-2321. Caller is a scammer. I asked him what company he represents he said www.alldaytechsupport.com. His name is Alex. Wanted me to check a few things on my computer. He said he has the secret CLSID of my computer. Just bluffing.

- whynot3122 replies to RCMINCThis number shows up on my caller Id as school district, out of area......once in awhile it shows the V #. He always identifies himself as Daniel from Microsoft. I hate to sound like a potty mouth, but he called tonight & identified himself with a heavy Indian accent as DAniel from Microsoft......I yelled at him & told him he was full of chit & he was calling from India........CLICk.....hung up! I'm about to call the Feds & report!

- Caller: 215-220-2321
- Paul F.Said he was "Edward from the computer maintenance center, how are you, sir?" When I answered "I'm fine" he hung up on me. I think it's the "you need to let us connect to your PC and update it" scam.
- SickOfTheScammersGot another call from these idiots again today. I'm a UNIX user and don't own a Windows computer so I decided to play along to see what they wanted. When I asked which one of my Windows computers was sending them all of these errors, he said "all of them". When I asked how they knew I had a Windows computer, he said their mainframe was getting errors from MY computer. I then asked what made them so sure I had a Windows computer and how they were sure it matched the phone number he had called, he hung up on me.
A friend of mine did this same thing and a week later they called back saying they were from Apple, not Microsoft.
DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO OR DO WHAT THEY ASK YOU TO DO!!! IT IS A SCAM!!!- Caller: 215-220-2321
- John BergerReceived call from the number, Caller ID said School District which is odd since I am in Arkansas, why get a call from PA.
