Why do I continue to get unwanted calls on my cell phone when I am on the do not call list???????  It happens daily from this same number.

Gotten calls 6 days running at 8:00AM.  Nothing when I speak, no message left if I let machine take it.   (fax line is same)  No fax left. Tried calling and only 3 options are given at CATALYST 360 none of which let you talk to a human unless you know a 5-digit extension.   Googled number and it lists at least firms I do business with.

It is from AARP Health, 4 Walnut Dr, Horsham PA  19044.  They won't talk with you unless you give them some of your private information.  I'd suggest refusing the call.  Seems like a sales call.

It is from AARP Catalys 360. It is their Health Ins. Branch. You have given your name for health insurence or joined their group to recieve those calls.

I received a call today at about 1:00 PM Eastern time.  Sounded like an Indian, name is 'Dave'.  Right!  Right off the bat he asked for my date of birth and some other piece of identifying info (I forgot what it was already!).

I told him something like "You called me, so you shouldn't need any more info to identify me", and then that I would "absolutely not provide that information since I have no idea who is calling me".  He said he understood, thanked me for my time, and hung up.

NEVER NEVER give any private information to a cold caller!

Calls all day.  I'm on the do not call list

I do not know who this is...if it is AARP, I will notify them and tell them to stop calling me.Sometimes, I am to busy to answer the phone, but still have to look at caller ID to see if it is important! I hate this! I have been on the "do not call" list for years, but as with everything else connected to the government, it does not seem to work!

The number 215-653-8000 belongs to a company called Catalyst 360 which is part of
Hartford Insurance Co.  It is a business of the Hartford's Consumer Markets Division
and supports the Hartford's relationship with AARP as the member services provider for
its health insurance program.  Apparently if you are a member of AARP your phone
number is passed to these telemarketers.  It is also a telemarketing number used for
other insurance that Hartford sells.  I called the AARP customer service number
directly 1-800-523-5880 and spoke with a customer rep.  I found out that they
have a "do not call" list belonging to that number and asked that my number be placed
on that list.  If that doesn't work I will send a letter to the head of AARP in Washington,
DC with a copy to the Attorney General.  These telemarketing calls get out of hand
and I refuse to put up with it anymore.

In my case, this an automated call from AARP Health, United Health Care medigap plans.  It was in response to my husband’s medigap plan application.  Their system apparently is automated, and would not leave a message on my answering device, because the call I was finally present to pick up asked me if I was my husband, who was at work, so I had to say yes in order to get the automated message; and they said his application was approved.  Which is really great, because Social Security screwed up the start date of his Medicare Part B, and we had to scramble with paperwork to make sure the Part B start date was in the data system which AARP/United Health Care apparently has access to---or else the app would have been rejected.  Phew!  Getting old in this country blows, you’ll all find out soon enough how you are going to be drained dry of your lifetime of earnings/more than half of your Social Security will go for health insurance (medigap + non-medicare-eligible individual coverage) because nobody wants to cap medical services and fees.  It’s carte blanche, baby.  We’re not experienced AARP medigap plan subscribers, but I chose them based on my Mom’s experience with them years ago when she needed medigap insurance, and she was pleased with them.  They have very competitive pricing.  I’m not an insurance advocate, just an old Hippie-generation lady who is a b--tch on wheels if necessary.

I get a call on my cell and when I don't answer, within a minute it rings on my home phone. I too am on a no call list  What happened to being able to use call blocking?

They've called me 3 tomes today, no message left.

They called me again yesterday.  I called the number after normal business hours and the machine answered "Catalyst 360", which seems to be an agent for The Hartford.  Bing lists them as having something to do with The Prudential and/or AARP Health.  Any way one looks at it, they're going to try to sell you health insurance.

Automated call from United Health Care [www.aarpmedicareplans.com] to acknowledge receipt of my application for Medigap Insurance. As automated call the computer needs to hear a live voice but call ends if it doesn't hear you live.  Computer doesn't leave voice mail message.
