2 ) Do not believe “ office “ open on Saturday.
3 ) Another website gave name of woman age 80+ with that number.

“ call center hours Mon. - Fri. 8 am - 5 pm EST “
But these calls came Saturday at 9:05 and 9:36 AM.
Scam ? Collections agency?

I got 4 missed calls from this number, called them back and noticed that the answering machine wanted my social before I could speak to anyone. So I was skeptical and found this website and read other peoples comments. Everyone's comments confused me so I just decided to log into my illinois tax account to figure out what was going on. In the top right corner it said * WARNING: IDOR COLLECTION IN EFFECT* so I clicked on it and it showed the same number that called me 4 times. I guess its legit, I'm currently on hold waiting to speak to someone. I still put a phony social in to be safe. It doesn't seem like I owe anything because I've made all my payments and there is no negative balance in my account.

This is a phishing scam.  Anyone on here telling you different is part of the scam. Block the calls and ignore them.  If that doesn't work, tell them to go [***] themselves.

I received a call from this number and a voicemail message indicating I should return the call because I owe Illinois taxes which will also be subject to collection action and increased penalties.  I do not owe Illinois tax, and this call came to my second, little known cell phone.

They called under the guise of IL ST OF saying that we had paperwork that was not turned in and to please call another number and to have account number when calling.  Thought it was suspicious, so I did this search.

217 785 2698  tried to scam my sister, thank God she told them nothing. Very suspicious
