This is the second time in two days they've called and left no message.

Company name is "tele-resources".  Marketing company of sorts.

Caller said she was from the Wall Street Journal. Was looking for someone who doesn't live here anymore. Wanted new phone number (which I didn't give) then said she would "correct their records".

I've gotten calls from this number before. I answered the first one, it was from Allstate Motor Club. (We had previously had membership but canceled it a long time ago.) When I told the caller this, and that we already had obtained new membership with a competitor, she tried to sell me on Allstate again, saying two memberships would be good for our family, etc. I told her not to call again. Yet at least twice a week, there's a call from this number. I just answer and promptly hang up.  Morons.

Tele Resources has no busbiness relationship now or previously with our number.  Tele Resources continues to make annoying and harassing calls with apparently no interest to conduct business??

I've received 6 calls from them trying to get me to renew towing ins. The [***] who keeps calling even lied & said me car ins will go up if I get towed by my car ins co. I checked. He lied.  These idiots think everybody else also are idiots.
BTW, for those tele-turds who monitor this board, I just filed a complaint w/ the FTC & listed each of the 6 times tele-turd called. I specifically labeled it harassment. Hope u get fired.

Joe hit it right on the head,,I have Allstate Roadside and because my credit card that I use expires this month,even though the renewal is not until Mar.30th,,they have been driving me nuts to give them the new expiration date. I told them that if and when I decided to renew I would do so, but the calls keep coming,one more call and I will answer and tell them to canx my membership!

calles fours times a day when voice mail kicks on they hang up. I do not answer unless I know who it is.

Been getting call from this number 4-5 times a day for a couple of weeks.  I've never answered but may next time to request my number be taken off their list.  Thanks for the afore mentioned tips.  Hopefully it will work.

I started getting calls from this number a couple of weeks ago. They usually call twice a day. I've never answered it because I didn't know who they were. I'll report it to the FCC also. These people need to be stopped.

OK, here's what to do.

First, make sure your phone numbers are all registered with the National Do-Not-Call Registry (www.donotcall.gov).

After your number has been registered for 31 days, you can file a complaint against any violator by clicking "File a Complaint" on the donotcall.gov web page.

Maybe if they start getting hundreds of complaints asking them to shut this company down, they'll do something about it. They're breaking the law by calling numbers such as mine that have been registered for months now.

I have been called twice so far and im really glad I googled the number. it all started a few days ago and hopefully I can stop the annoying phone calls.

Mon Nov. 10, '08, 10:40 am I called "218-724-2094" and was fwd'd to Steve Martin in the Tele Resources office at: 1203 London Rd., Duluth, MN 55802. Steve assured me that he was the person MOST responsible for the FCC ( Federal Communications Commission) & the FTC ( Federal Trade Commission) rules governing all calls from their office. I asked him why I was getting phone calls from his company and other when I have been placed on the " Do Not Call Registry". They had my name,address,Ph# because of a magazine subscription I had sent in almost 4 yrs ago. They are doing sales calls from old info that was still valid. I believe the company to be genuine. Please - in the interest of no more phone calls, get a new ph#.

Did you order a product from Wu-Yi Source.com? If you did - they sold your information to this telemarketing company. The name of the company is Tele Resources or another name is Life Scripts.

The caller said they were from Allstate road service, wanting to renew my membership that expires in 3 months.  The insisted on a credit card number so I hung up.

I don't get it. Are you all dumb? If you have a prior business relationship (that can go back for a very long time) with a company, that company can call you, or outsource a company to call on their behalf (which is what Teleresources does. They are not breaking the law by calling you. Learn the law before you make authoritative and definitive statements like "They are breaking the law by calling me :("

But that isn't as funny as the people that never answer their phone and then sit around and wonder how they can get the calls to stop. Simply answering the phone, waiting for a person to be connected, and then politely telling them to stop calling you usually does the trick. If not, call the number back, hit extension 111 and ask to be taken of the calling list (if it goes to voice mail, leave a message).

All of this is really simple if you get your heads out of your butts and stop acting all self important.
