Call - no response/answer - return call it rings busy

asked for a credit card number to renew Allstate Motor Club.  Seems like a scam so I hung up.  I don't think a legitamate buisness with any sense would call unsolicited and ask for credit card info over the phone.

I get this call 2 times a day but when i pickup it hangs up...this happens EVERYDAY. Once in the morning and ONCE in the Evening. VERY ANNOYING....

Calls me every day... never leaves a message. Next time I will pick up and say "GET LOST!"

Most of the comments on here are correct. The source is a telemarketer that has your number most likely because you didn't 'opt out' with a company you do business with. Partner companies then get your number, which provides a legal exception to the 'Do Not Call' list. Also, since most contact center functions are outsourced, they have multiple clients flashing one outgoing number. The best advice on here is to pick up the phone and ask them to put you on their 'Do Not Call' list. It is a good practice to always opt out when a company asks if you can be contacted by them, or partner companies regarding offers, new products, or surveys. Otherwise, a good company you do business with will give your number to a subsidiary or a 'partner' company for this exact use. Online registration is the most common source of this type of 'opt out' exception. It is also possible, but less likely, that a reputable company would have your number illegally.

I have received a missed call from this number every day this week.

they kept calling me but i never answered. something told me to check the number before i wasted my time

Called to confirm a "Diet Tea" order, which I never placed...had my name and mailing address correct; but the credit card number they referred to was not. Said they would cancel the order and that I'd have nothing to worry about...Another scam!!!

they have called at least 3 times. When I answered they wanted to talk to my husband about a on line order he had made and wanted to verify it.  I stated I was his wife and could help them.  They said it may be personal so they could only talk to him and I asked who this was again she stated she was with woohoo?

I got a call from this number and did not answer it because I don't recognize it. I would like to know who it is.

this number has called everyday for the past 2 weeks, at least twice a day...  and doesn't leave a message. A bit of an annoyance!!!

This number has been calling my cell like three times a day.
They never leave a message.

This # has shown up repeatedly over the past serveral days.  I answer it and say remove me from your call list and they keep calling.  One time I called it back and the recordng said they were teleresources.  It instructed me to dial ext 111 if their # appeared on my caller id.  I did that and got a voicemail for Steve Martin.  I then hung up and dialed the ext for the receptionist and got the receptionists voicemail.

This number keeps calling me when I am trying to sleep!! I finally answered it today and it was some kind of educational telemarketer. She said she got my information from a website that I showed interest in continuing my education. I was nasty and told her I did not request information and for her to remove my number from the list and she said she would.....Now will she???

They have called me 4 times in the past 2 days.  I don't recognize the number so I won't answer.  They don't leave a message. I'd like them to give up.

My daughter called this number from my phone to get in touch and ask questions about a program titled "Your Baby Can Read".  Since she has called this number, they now call me back trying to sell the product to me.  I asked the first time they called if they would remove my number, she agreed.  I've received four calls since that request.

Answered the phone after the second ring but no one on the other end ... reviewed call history and noticed calls from this number every two hours ... hopped online to Google and the number ... and here I am! Read some of the other comments about this being TeleSource. We do not carry the car insurance mentioned as one of the possible businesses outsourcing through this company. Thanks for the heads up.
