This is a on line school in Colorado, and if you have ever gone on line and filled out a on line application at any type of on line collage, or trade school and requsted information, then your information is sent to all of them and then the calling starts. They are on a auto dialer and the calls will come in around the same time daily.  You will need to contact the school and have them remove you out of their system and put you on a do not call list. It may take up to three days for this to work.  If not then call them back and tell them you have already spoken with them on this matter, and if they calls do not stop, you will report them to the Federal Trade Commision, and this should take care of the problem.

I was in the same boat with the calls.  I finally just called the number and told them to quit calling me, that i was not interested in their school  Has worked so far.

This number started calling me after I did some requests for Colorado Technical University. Its from them. They are school recruiters looking to enroll you in their online program. Downside is, they don't stop calling you. 5 calls so far today.

This number and several others, (This one just called again 10 minutes later.) keep calling. DO NOT respond to any COLLEGE GRANT AD. I believe that this is what started the hassle. I was sent emails and responded to stop. There were so many I flagged them as phishing. I just told No One who was on the line to, "GET A LIFE."  They can't be affiliated with a college because they are harassing people like this. very unprofessional and tiresome. I also said that I am online right now reporting them.

This numbers calls & I dont hear it rings but I have a missed call. They dont leave a message. wtf???

Every 2 hours I get a call from 224-653-7000. I answered once and told the caller to take me off their list.
However, I am still getting these calls.

they call me every morning at 7:15 AM and do not leave a message. i already told them once i was not interested in their school. i dont answer because i am not awake at this time!!!

Received two calls today, who is this?

They have called me for the past few days no messages then I got a message with someone breathing extremely heavy on the phone.

Ok folks this 224-653-7000 number just called me. I did not answer because It was unknown to me and I always check to see if they leave a message. Well they did not and I too also applied for a job online.

It is Colorado Tech Univ. calling i am sure, but it's because I requested info on the school. All of you people who have filled out apps online and clicked request info from a school well you asked for them to contact you (read stuff before you click). There is always a skip option on those apps.

Also just pick up the phone, talk to someone and tell them that you are not interested and not to call back! It's that simple. If it's a recording call back and tell them that you are not interested and to take your number off the call list.

I too completed an online inquiry (5/20/10) for continuing education; Colorado University was just one of the several schools listed. I have been receiving calls off the hook ( I don't answer either, & they leave no messages) since yesterday! It would be nice if they could just send you information via e-mail (as I requested) and let the individual decide if they wish to look into that particular school. I too, confirmed the area code is out of IL.

This number keeps calling me, at least 4 times a day, and it is calling on Sundays also.
I don't pickup the phone unless I know the number.   And it never leaves a message either.

this number has called me twice today and it's sunday. I tried calling it back and the number isn't in service. Funny how they can do that. If you are able to, I recommending you block and then they can't call. I just did that.

How do I get this harrassment to stop?

I just applied to ITT, that's the only site i've put my number in in the last day and today not even an hour after I finished this same number keeps calling about every hour.

This is Sunday May 30, 2010 Memorial day weekend and a Sunday. I received a call from Colorado Tech online campus (?), at 7:30 pm.  When asked if I was marilyn, I told the girl that this was a Sunday she responded rudely I know, I also told her it was a holiday weekend, she replied I know again rudely, I just plain told her not to call me again or I would report it.  I am reporting it anyway.  this is ridiculous!

I keep getting phone calls from this number and every time i ask it no one say anything.
