They don't stop, filed a complaint with FCC and ACA, spoke to a Mr. Spann, and he indicated that they would stop!!

I have asked these people to quit calling but they said "no".

I have been receiving 1-2 calls from this number for the past week. I read somewhere else if you go to their website http://www.ctuonline.edu and select the Onling Chat you can tell the person you don't want to receive calls. They may ask for your name, e-mail address, and phone number. They asked for mine and could find no information regarding me or why they would be calling. While I was chatting with "Dana" I received a call from another lady asking for "Kelly" I simply asked her not to call back anymore and she said she would comply. She apologized and I let her go. I also let the chat person go as well letting her know that hopefully my issue was resolved. Although I don't know if it was. I advise anyone receiving this call to try the online chat or just answer it and tell the person you don't want to receive calls anymore. The person who called was very friendly and not rude at all.

You guys are the "BEST SITE BY FAR" I can't believe I almost paid 35.00 on my credit card to another company or two just to find out who this was, and you guys are so cool to do this for free, thank you doesn't even cover it.  My complaints are the same as all of the above, they call non-stop, and early very early even on Sunday morning.  I don't think I have any out standing bill's and they have never left a message on my machine, that's what I thought was so weird. And I'm in Michigan and I see it's coming from a Landline out of Chicago actually Roselle,  Anyone up for a road trip??? I don't remember filling out any on-line school stuff but, how do you get removed if you can't get a hold of them, I wonder if there running  few more things out of there like the on-line school, cruise ship winners etc,,, Only because I keep getting call's from Las Vegas asking to subscribe to my local newspaper here in Michigan, so ya never know?  once again thanks ;-D

I have been receiving calls from both numbers 224-653-7000 and 602-713-0785,does anyone know how to get your phone number removed from their calling list??Please they are pissing me off....

It is indeed Colorado Tech. I filled out their information online for "Online Education" yesterday, and they began calling today. So, to set all of your minds at ease, the above people are correct, it is CTU.

Received call at my workplace. Picked up, no answer/response.
Dialed number and got a woman with a Indian (or thereabouts) accent.
She id'd the company as 'Creative High Tech'. I said you jsut called me, she said something I couldn't make out and I hung up.

They continue to call me daily, but I never answer. They also never leave a message, I believe it from a college trying to recruit me.

Please STOP calling ME!!!

I, too, applied for a job online and immediately started getting these calls.  Lucky me, I happen to have a pbx phone switch installed in my home and it has this very interesting BLACKLIST feature.

The next time 2246537000 calls me they will be greeted with those three annoying tones and a recording that says "the number you have reached has been disconnected"... all without ever bothering me with a ringing phone.

The number 224-653-7000, calls my house constantly today there actually was a person on the other end of the call, I requested to not call my house again, he said that he would continue to call, I asked for a supervisor, he stated I'm as high as you're going to get, I then told him I was reporting the harassment to the Federal Trade commission he told me he did not care, after researching into the matter I located a phone number to the supervisor of the unit that over sees 224-653-7000 call center that number is 312-568-2070, if you continue to get calls call them and report the phone harassment to them.

I am writing to everyone to provide you all with a bit of helpful information that I recieved just moments, ago!

In my case, I have been out of work and have been applying for all sort of administrative job positions & as part of the application process - you may have had to fill out a 5 question survey - one of which is tied towards furthering your education - if you clicked "yes" - they got ya...

For me, I was recieving a minimum of 8-10 calls a day per University- Monday -Sunday - first (Colorado Tech online University) would try my home # then my cell number & would leave no messages, followed by(University of Phoenix). - between the hours of 8:00 AM & 9:00 PM.

At times I was so frustrated that I would place both phones on silent & missed out on calls that were important.

So, I had enough & decided tonight that I was going to do something about it!  I called 224-653-7000 - spoke to an "Admissions representative" - I voiced my complaint & she placed me on thier "DO NOT CALL" registry. Then I took it a step further & asked to speak to her superior & she transferred my call to an "Admissions Director".

Here is what I was informed:

1. In my case - I must have applied for an administrative position - i.e. it's originating lead source - "LEAD MEDIA PARTNERS" - she provided me with the details of who, what, where & when....

2. As soon as the school recieves this bit of information - they will call you at least 4 times a day - they get away with it - because they have proof that I initially requested to further my education...:(

3. The above continues until you actually call the school and request that they place you on thier "DO NOT CALL REGISTRY".

5. School submits notice to a "CTU Administrative Asst"... & the request uploads at midnite & then takes approximately 24 hours to finalize.

6. Also, if you are recieveing calls from Folks - be aware that you may have to make two phone calls - because they have a sister school "American Intercontinental" & you will need to follow the same steps for this school, as well.

7. According to the Director of Admissions - since they have administrators working around the clock, they want to provide outstanding Customer Service and it is not uncommon to recieve a minimum of 4 calls per day & in my case - that I gave both cell & home- (8 calls per University) :( :(

8. I reminded her that they are borderline "harrassing" - she didn't agree. because they don't ever leave a message! (I guess that makes them so clever)...

9. In closing, this Director provided me her full name & direct line & asked for me not to give it out - unless someone is interested in the school & assured me that even though they recieve complaints - there are many thousands of students that are quite content with the services they provide...

The information here is helpful. I just got my first call today, but have received numerous calls from other colleges in the past.  I haven't applied online but since my cell number is so easy to enter, I fear that others are mistakenly using my nubmer to avoid receiving these calls.

Yeah, these mo fos keep calling me too. I just recently filled out an app for a company and they wont leave me the hell alone. It hasnt been even 20 min after i filled out the damn thing, and now they try to switch up the area code thinking im a fool. Get real, they dont leave messages trying to be slick so you will call them back, yeah!!!!IF YOU GOT A CHECK FOR A MILLION $ WITH MY NAME ON IT!!!!!

This number calls me anywhere between 3-5 times a day on my cellphone and about 3 times a day on my home line.  That's ridiculous!
