224-653-7000

Got a call from (224) 653-7000.  I answered but did not say anything.  I did not recognize the number because my "favorite" debt collectors usually use an 800 or 877 number.  The schools that I am thinking about attending usually will leave a message.  According to FDCPA (federal law), debt collectors are only supposed to call you once a day.  However, if I answer but do not say anything, they gives them ammo to use another number because they know that I am home.  Recieved a call from (925) 808-7569 immediately after I picked up and hung up.  Now, I am helping to spread the word if other are facing the same "problems".  If you experience a problem, tell someone else!  Thanks.  I will return the favor.

they call me all the time and no i do not want to go back to school

Yes this number called me about 6 times in the morning while i work and its so annoying i really don't want to answer it... maybe i should stop giving my number out on the internet???? Does anyone know who the hell it is???/

So this number calls me. It is very odd though, they call our home phone but it is setup to also ring through to my cell phone.  On our home phone, it always shows up as private caller or private name but when my cell rings at the same time, it shows up with this 224 area code number.  I have never answered it but find it very strange that my home phone displays private but my cell displays a number.

I keep getting these calls but never answer since I have caller ID and do not recognize the number. They never leave a message so I am assuming it is a solicitation call.

Keeps calling and annoying us

I'm getting many repeated calls from (224) 653-7000.  They just hang up when I answer.  Unable to stop these calls.  I believe they are related to my online inquiry about online college degree education.  I originally inquired about Arizona State University and now I get these pesky calls that may be coming from someone at ColoradoTech Online college (if it is a real true college) or University of Colorado online (if such a school exists)

I just filed a complaint the Federal Do Not Call Registry at www.DoNotCall.gov and gave them the harrassing number.  They say they will investgate but need a lot of complaints to make a case.  Everyone on here should go file a complaint!

Un know message or caller

I have received many calls from this number to my cell.  They have all been when cell turned off or not in my posession.  Past research indicates that the calls come from a school in Colorado named "Colorado Polytechnic Online" that may be a scam.  Initially, I was interested in an Arizona called Arizona State University regarding college level courses that can be taken "on line" for full college credit so I went into that website and requested information be mailed to me by USPS.  That information has not been sent to me after about 3 weeks of waiting but, somehow, this Colorado school (perhaps a non-existent phony school) start calling me on the cell.  I smell a dirty rat here.

If you speak to the admissions rep, and asked to be put on the do not call list, they will gladly assist you. But as others have said it may take 24-48 hrs. The person I spoke with tole me it wasn't her calling, but was very helpful in giving me the information I needed and her contact information if for some reason after 48hrs she received a call. I try to treat people with the kindness I hope to be shown, and in this situation it worked!!

BTW i did do some research and this number is for Colorado Technical University, and from the Dept of Education website that they are an Accredited school.

Calling twice a day and not leaving any message. What's their problem?

I accidently signed up for a college grants website, this number has been calling me every 30min for the last 3 days!!!
