They started calling me today... once at 1:30 pm... and again at 7:30pm. Glad to join the club!

Rec'd calls from this # tday for the first time. I have made Inet purchases lately from several known companies. Only one purchase was made from an outfit with which I'd never done business outfit called "Hayneedle."  The other purchases are from two companies with which I've done business before and never had any problem like this or otherwise. I'm wondering if "Hayneedle" is at the root of this somehow either via a dishonest employee or because they're doing business on the side with this "Vista" outfit???  Caller ID said "Customer Service." Five calls between about 11:30 AM and 8:00 PM, with two of them being right at dinner time. I answered the first one after I got home and was told due to a recent order I was a preferred customer and eligible for a $150.00 gas card. I told the caller that I would not be answering any questions over the phone, she got snippy and hung up.

I received a call from them today as well. They had all of my info! I told them I wasn't interested and they said sir, "We have all of your information". I was like WTF? As soon as I got off the phone I called my bank and they said it was a scam. I truly wish they could get into trouble for this. I hate people that try to scam honest americans! I had my bank card info deleted and said the hell with worrying. The new card is in the mail. Does anyone know the root of all this?

I had the same experience.  This number called me for almost a week.  They said they were from Vista Services (I believe--same deal with the gas cards).  The representative tried to get me to say my name while the call was being recorded, allegedly for quality assurance.  I declined, said I wasn't interested and hung up and notified my bank.  They gave me the same advice--Cancel the card and get a new one.  

My bank also said, if you make online purchases with your card, that could be another way your information could have been captured.  Contact your bank for their secure methods or policies for online purchases.

got a call today saying my delivery wouod be on time.......the only thing i didnt order anything. i cant get a real person on the phone

I also have gotten many calls from them and every time I answer they hang up. The last time they called the had blocked their number so it showed as unknown, but the back ground noise was the same. I told them to stop calling and hung up.

These people have called me 20 xs in the last two days. I am deaf and use my cell phone for text only. I don't leave my # with anyone who does not know I am deaf, all my family texts me. These people are driving me bats. The vibrate wakes me up at night. I never use my debit card anywhere but local vendors, online I use Paypal and know they are not getting from there(my # not on account). I would seriously like to "reach out and touch them" right in the nose.

This is all happening because Bank of America had a security breach and lost thousands of account numbers. they were stolen and sold off. The people calling are all offering Scams, the same ones over and over just through different numbers, this is the second time it has happened to me. Just hang up on them, or go with the Air horn approach. I had a VISA card through BofA, they closed my acocunt an re-issued a new one only AFTER I inquired why I couldnt access my acocunt online again. they didnt even have the courtesy to send a blast emial out to all their clients that were affected. Needless to say, they wont be seeing any of my business anyore I signed up for AMEX cards and will use them form now on. Congratulations on your outstanding customer service BofA!

this number keeps calling me at any hour and when i dont answer they call right back blocked!!! its really irritating something should be done !!!i wish i had their number so i can call them off the hook and seee how they like it!!!!

Ten times they have called. I work twelve hour nightshifts,  sleep during the day and my entire family is very considerate to not wake me. I keep the phone on for any thing my kids need. So when it rings it is rareley anyone but them. Can I sue then if I get in a car wreck because of my lack of slee?

I have been getting non stop calls from this number for days now.  My mom finally answered the phone and the person on the other end asked for me.... they couldn't even tell her what company they were from, they just hung up.  The ID on my phone just says Customer Service.  What kind of customer service is this???

DO THIS.  IT WORKED FOR ME!!!  One day, finally sick of the calls all day long, I finally answered and just told them they have the wrong number!!  Yes, I got one more call that day, but NOTHING since!!!  It's been a couple of weeks now and still no calls!!!!

so they called me this afternoon, same thing.  i was a great customer and qualified for free gas.  the thing they didnt relize is that i have 2 address and told me the wrong address that where i was getting my bill, and the cc they had was a old card that had already gotten canceled for another reason.  so i laughed in there face and told them good try.

My credit card number was recently stolen and used to make fraudulent purchases online. The thieves had not only my credit card number but used my home address and cell phone number when ordering the purchases. (I don't have children or anyone else that could have stolen the card in my home. This made me wonder if the theives were local to me.) Thankfully, my credit card company caught it and was able to stop the purchases and cancel the card.

However, I've begun receiving calls from this number on my cell phone but have never picked up since I don't recognize the number.

After reading the stories of other people here, I'm now wondering if my credit info was somehow sold or given out via online purchases I made.

I just got a call on my cell phone from this number saying because I was a Visa customer in good standing they had $120 in gas credit coupons for me; it was pretty obvious they had harvested my data because they had just enough information to make it sound official.  The guy proceeded with his pitch and I said "this sounds like a telemarketing call and I'm not interested."   He said "nah, we'll call back"  I told him "no, don't call this number."  I hope they don't because I won't be as nice the next time.
