I did buy one of those balls and sent it back.  They kept calling after I purchased the ball and I told them that I had sent the thing back and to please take my number off their call list and now I m getting calls from this number but no one ever says anything.  They have called as late as 8:45 at night.

They called me thrice this weekend, I picked up the third time.  Said they were from Visa Consumer Services and told me that I qualified for gas rebates, gave the last four digits on my bank card and asked if I still lived at whatever address they had.  I had just moved and they gave an old address and I wondered for a second whether I had done something improperly when I changed my billing address.  Then I realized that my bank card isn't a Visa anymore.  That's when I hung up (credit to those of you who are polite; once I realized this was predatory nonsense I was not inclined to be).

Got that call today after they tried 4 times. They said since i purchased something with my VISA, I was going to get $120 worth of gasoline vouchers. I asked what I had purchased and they gave me a vague answer.

Thank you all for posting here!  I received 8 calls today from this number- did not answer.  Going to the bank tomorrow to cancel my card and be sure nothing was purchased. THANK YOU ALL!  I'm shocked since I only purchased 1 item online- ever. I'm glad I found this site.

After 3 days of calls all day and into the evening I called this number with the *67 prefix to block my info when calling.  The recording says its calling to confirm delivery of a package.  It doesn't say the name of the company but it does give you an option to stop further calls.  I took it, skeptically, which was to hit option 2 and enter the phone # that was called.  It says it takes up to 36 hours for the calls to cease.  Hopefully it will and hopefully it won't come back to bite me that I performed that step.  

I tried the first night to call my cell phone carrier (T-Mobile) to block the number but they said only certain models of phone (and not blackberrys, which I have) have that option and has nothing to do with the carrier.

With all the advances in technology, not to mention the "Do Not Call Lists" (which I am on) seems ridiculous you can't block a number.

This number called me not 30 minutes after we told them to take us off their list. They've called 7 times in two and a half days! They will not remove you.  Obviously, this is a type of thing like on the net and it's for sure they got my number from something I've filled out on the net.  

If they call me again, I am going to get livid... and they will hear my wrath.

This is probably a scam.  Once they got your credit card number, you will be defrauded and potentially your identity stolen. DO NOT give them any bank/credit card info!

Wow - follow up on my earlier post.  They called from a blocked number now.  Said their company name is VISTA and that they were following up on one of their vendors I purchased from over the last 6 - 12 months but couldn't tell me what vendor or what the purchase was.  

Thanks to reading this board I asked if they had credit card information and they gave me the last 4 digits of one of my credit cards.  I proceeded to tell them I want them to stop calling me,  (they said it takes up to 72 hours for that to be processed).  I told them its a felony to keep calling after someone has asked you to stop (something my cell phone carrier told me) and that I believe their company is practicing fraudulent activity and hung up.

I immediately called my credit card bank and stopped the credit card.

What a weird weird situation..

ps. I heard that Verizon (not my cell phone carrier) has a way to help people block phone numbers, right on their website.  Figured I'd save some of you the trouble, if I could.

So... I am new to the club ... I have been getting this call for months but have ignored it since I didn't know the number.  Today, I picked up and it was Vista Communications ... and they had my debt card numbers... here's the kicker ... the scammer had the pervious person she called on the phone while she was on the phone with me!!  The lady was pi**ed.  

I just told her that wasn't my card.  I am on the phone with the bank now.

I received 5....5!!!!!! Calls from these people with in 8 hrs. I finally answered and no one was there. So I called the number back and some recording came on and option 3 said if you want to be put o nthe do not call list hit 3 so I did. It says it takes 36 hrs to process but since then I only got 1 call from them the next day but nothing since.

This number keeps calling, I don't pick up, but it's so annoying. Anyone know if this is Illinois? My bank called and said I was getting some attempts for random charges on my card from a company in Illinois.

i keep getting calls from this # about a package  i have not ordered any thing
