Got a call from 231-995-8899 - I was busy, didn't recognize the number, almost answered it but answered late. It had me a little worried - I don't know if I feel better knowing that it was some scoundrel telemarketer/scammer but I 'spose I know it's not an emergency or bad news. I'm in Austin, Texas, and it looks like these carpet baggers get around - well I guess with the internet and telephone they can be anywhere and still try to rob us. Isn't technology great?

Weird, I just received a call from this number and when I called back it also said the number was disconnected.

Got a call from this number this afternoon.  Didn't answer since I didn't get recognize the #.  The caller didn't leave a message.  Tried reverse lookup in the Yellow Pages to identify the caller - no dice.  Shortly thereafter I recieved a call from "0000123456".  Didn't answer again and there was no message sent.

just got a call from this number....did not answer, no msg.  called back and it says this phone number is out of service or has been disconnected.

Got a call from this #2319958899 - automated English voice saying I have won a prize from Telus. push 1 to accept now!

I pushed 1 and got some call center, the line quality was so poor I could not understand the guy, sounded Spanish though.

Hung up after that.

Got a call in New Brunswick, Canada on my Telus Cell phone.. did not answer. Left no message.

Saskatchewan - Just got the same on my Blackberry.  I didn't answer. No voicemail left.

I just got a call from this number 231-995-8899 and it stated it was for Telus Customers only press 1 to claim your vacation prize package so I did then a guy with a accent came on the line and he asked if I had a major credit card visa master card etc I said yes and he immeditally said I don't not qualitify have a nice day and hung up I called Telus myself and they advised me they have no promotions like that going on I live in Nova Scotia Canada
