Just got a call from this number. Seems who ever this is, is targeting the Austin area cell phones.

It's not just Austin I'm in Raleigh, NC 919 area code and I just got the call again.

New York City cell....didn't answer, no message. Can't stand those things...

Called me....im in Chicago.  No message was left.  This isn't the first time I have gotten a call from this number....crazy!

I'm from austin tx just got this number on my phone to I will tell you that alot of these companies are claiming to be a auto warranty company and that vyour vehicles warranty is about to expire "they accualy don't know anything about your vehicle" because a friend of mine has a 12 yr old truck and got the same call. All they are trying to do Is get you to but there extended warrany and you can do this but I wouldn't advise you to do this on the phone to risky some of them may accualy be frauds. there are local companies in your area that can provide this service and more securly. and yes extended warranty after the mfg warranty expires is leagle and widely done. I use to be a warrany rep myself and know this.

11:20am missed call on cell from this 231-995-8899 phone number.  Has anyone found out who they are or what they want. Seems to be calling alot of us in ATX

I just got that call and I didn't answer. I'm in Miami, and my boyfriend has received the same call for the past two days, and it's on both our cell phones. Wow, they don't give up

I just got a call on my cell phone from this number.  I have a new york number but I live in san francisco.  I didn't pick up and immediately looked up the number on the internets to see if it was a voice-spammer.  Glad I didn't pick it up.

My boyfriend (Austin area code) just got two calls from this number.  The first was in English and disconnected, the second was in Spanish.  He followed it through until he got a person.  He got her name (Alejandra Moreno), the name of the company (Mega Travels), and a number (866-383-1651 although the caller ID showed 231-995-8899).  He said she was clearly reading off all of the information she was giving him.  She claimed to be in Miami, but he said she spoke Mexican spanish and the area code is from Michigan.  They first asked for his credit card number, expiration, and the code from the back.  He made one up just to keep her on the line. She was claiming that he had won a prize.  The company is not listed in any state in the US with the Better Business Bureau.  They are, however, listed all over the internet as some sort of scam artists.

I just received a call from this number too!  I picked up the phone, it was garbled at first, then a woman spoke in Spanish giving me some sort of instructions.  I stayed on the line and then it disconnected.  The strange this is that I called the number back and it "has been disconnected!"
