Was called at noon on 6/26 but did not answer (unrecognized number).
I'm also in Austin and have mobile service through TRACFONE.

From Dallas, TX recieved a call from 231-995-8899 didn't answer it and they did not leave a message.

Got a call from this number at 11:15 mountain time. No vmail.

Got a call from this number in garbled spanish at 12:20 central time.  I'm in Austin, Tx.  WTF?

Have also recently received calls on my cell from 417-967-9988 & 731-681-9898. Haven't answered any of them and there's never been a message. I've looked all the numbers up and every time the comments say the same thing. Garbled recording in Spanish and never a message. My husband has also gotten one of these calls - a different phone number but always the last four digits are 8s and 9s.

this number has called my cell, my dads, my sisters, my boyfriends, and my brothers (my dads is a state owned number) it is a spanish recording.. rumor is that nextel/sprint "rent" your number out to various "promoters" and they will call and text you.. i also get random text from business' as well... there is no way to stop it

I just received the call 12:26 pm today, odd how everyone in the Austin area is getting the call.  I'm expecting a call from Geico, anyone else have Geico?  Maybe there is a link.

I live in austin and also got the call.  I understand Spanish so I know what the recording says.  "You are caller #x and have won a prize, please press 1.  Since I didn't recognize the number i did not press 1 but I have read other sites that list this as a scam. My guess is that if you press 1 you will be connected to someone claiming you won a prize and then they will ask for your credit card number.  If you ever win anything, you never have to pay anything to receive your prize, not even shipping.  You'll have to claim the prize on your taxes, but don't ever give out your credit card info if someone tells you that you won.
