I got this call also... but of course not knowing the number I didnt answer it but Googled it also... I am soooooo glad that I dont answers numbers that I dont know... that is one habit I will be keeping through the new year...

Saying that I was to get $9000 and they were from the fed govt. That I don't have to pay back. Wanting my bank infomation.

Got a call from 233-333-3333 stating I won $9000 in government grant.  Strong Arabic accent.  Hung up on him.

I just got a call from the number above as well. It was a man with a thick arabic sounding accent. He said I had a grant of 9000k from US Gov...as the others have said. I was curious to play along and he stopped mid sentence and started speaking in a language I have no clue of and my boyfriend started to make funny noises and the guy hung up. Can't call back. Is there not a way to let the federal government know of this guy and others similar to it? Hmm.

I got a call from this number, it disconnected and immediately came again as a blocked number! I would love to know know how these jerks got my cell number!

on 1/07/2013 i also recieved a call from this # 2333333333... he needs to be put under the jail.. i hope they really cauch him...or make his address public

My husband and I both got calls the same day. Neither of us answered it.

got a call on my cell from 233-333-3333.    Did not answer it.

Also got a call from the same number above.  Did not anwer it either.

Like others below, someone with an accent called to say I had been chosen at random to receive a government grant of $9,000 with no strings.  I knew immediately it was a scam and asked (aggressively) how he got my number (employer mobile#) and then he hung up.  My phone identified caller as "Peter Lybecker" at 233-333-3333.  Beware!

I just got a call from this number. I didn't answer either, but he will certainly get an earful if he calls me again! This guy should be put in jail! I wonder if there is anyone dumb enough to fall for his tricks?

Got a phone call saying there was a federal grant for $9,000 for which I had been selected so long as I spent it   "with a good purpose such as paying off bills, buying a car, etc." The man had a heavy middle eastern accent and insisted that they needed my bank account number or some sort of debit card for them to deposit the money. He claimed that they were unable to mail a check because it was "insecure" and that the money would appear in my account within 45 minutes...when I told him to take me off the call list he said there was no call list and that I was losing my opportunity. He also said he would call me back again. I hope no one falls for a scam as stupid as this one...

Got the same as above on cell but did not pick up. Anyone have any idea who or what agency that this  can be reported to...don't say "no one".....as SOMEBODY or intity had to issue and hook up this number?

I saw the suspicious number on my phone too and answered out of curiosity. The caller said he was from the US government. All I could think of was the cliche "I'm from the US Government and I'm here to help."

His accent was so thick and what he said caught me so off-guard, I just started laughing. It seemed to make him mad. He kept asking "Why are you laughing?" as I I kept asking why he was calling.

Apparently these shady folks don't like to be laughed at.

He then got so mad and said "YOU ARE UNDER ARREST."

I laughed louder and hung up. I think I found a weakness by accident!

This guy called me and said "how can I help you"? I answered "you called me I dont need any help" he responded, " if you don't need any help then suck my [***] and go to hell" and Hung up on me. Wtf?????

I got a call from 223-333-3333 the guy had an accent and he told me i was eligible to receive 9k from the government. I told him to never call me again and he got mad so we went on and exchanged a few cuss words . I hung up on him.How stupid do they think people are?

Some guy called saying I won money from Reserve he couldnt even tell me my name the number was 233-333-333 this is a con

I've known this was a scam. He called my brother and sister. Their numbers start with 703. Mine was called a few weeks later. Mine is a 750 number. So he's probably calling in order.... I wasn't near my phone and I couldn't answer.
