constantly receives call from this number. no recognize-no pickup phone! they leave no msgs but from several other posts here i see i have no reason to pick up.  I'm also on do not call list. TIME TO CALL AND COMPLAIN TO THE FTC AND THE ATTORNEY GENERAL RE THIS  ABUSE! PLEASE DO SO ALSO.

I receive calls from these guys also.  I am at work most of the time and they don't leave a message.   It seems wierd that they continue to call when I am on a DNC list.

You should probably find a better way to 'work' your way through school. The point is not whether it's for a good cause or helping people...people don't appreciate having unsolicated interruptions that they have no control over. And when we say 'not interested, please remove me from your call list' chances are the response is either a rude hang up, or worse, ill-mannered behavior.

People, get a life. No one wants anything to do with telemarketers. It's a negative, creepy way to make a living obviously done by people who choose to engage in negative activities...I feel sorry for you.

I agree with all these complaints.  We also just received the most rude call from the same above number.  After a bit of digging, we found this number below to call and file a complaint with the "head supervisor".  We also requested to be taken off the call list.  If this is a legit #...it feels like vindication.

A woman called on behalf of the California Department of Energy.
The woman was very persistant and thought nothing of lying.
I hung up after it was clear that she never would no matter what I said.

Rec'd second call from them.  Asking personal questions for the behalf of the California autobiles on the road.  The idiot was rude and a punk.  MAybe they should get a real job.

This caller (same number) claims to be calling from the FLorida Department of Health.

We have been receiving calls from this number.
In the evenings and on Sunday evening.  We have numerous calls from this number and caller ID on our phone.

A guy called from this number and said he is conducting a survey on children's under 18 health. He mentioned as being the same foundation as DuPont Hospital and asked me only 3 question - which county I live in, if there is any under 18 child in the household and most interestingly if the child is African American. I wasn't suspecting at the beginning as it said as DuPont affiliated. But as soon as I answered the 3rd question, the guy quickly responded thank you and hung up. I got suspicious then and looked up the number on the internet. I wonder what kind of scam it could be!!

My phone keeps ringing.  Oh my gosh.  I want to yell and complain and be hateful to everyone around me.

Get a life, don't answer the phone.  Things can only enrage you if you let them.

Don't criticize people for the way they make a living.  In this economy, people do what they feel they have to do.  There's no need to be rude & snotty.

same deal as everyone else, non stop calls everyday usually about 8 pm or so, extremely annoying and i never pick up

This number has been calling daily (sometimes more) for several days. I don't know who they are, and it could be a scam. They claim to be doing a survey for the Georgia Division of Public Health and the CDC, but who knows?

I too got a call from that 239-415-4400. I seem to have developed a great way to make sure they never call me again:

I see the number I don't recognize, and answer in polite-sounding gibberish which to them sounds like some foreign language, and then I I start talking non-stop in interested-and-polite-sounding gibberish: for 10-20 seconds:
They hang up, and never call again. It has worked with many others.

They're not scammers, they're legitimate people hired by different government agencies to do surveys. Please at least listen to them with an open mind, ask questions, and give them a chance to talk. They're just trying to make money like everyone else. If they are calling you and theres a health reason as to why you are unable to do the survey, just let them know.

I don't ever want these crazy A holes calling me I have an unpublished number to stop this S--T but somehow the still do it I do not answer those calls but it is very annoying
