- gI received a call from this number 239-415-4400 last night and they said they were doing a survey. Said it would only be 5 questions, but after the first one which was a general question about my community, all the other questions were geared towards if I was Jewish, if my mother was Jewish, if I was brought up Jewish etc, even though I told them I was not any religion, they kept starting with Jewish questions. I told them I already said I was not in any religion and why have you not asked if I was any other religion except Jewish. I finally said I am not answering any personal questions and hung up

conducting a polling survey. I advised the caller to remove me from their call list.

This COMPANY is in violation of the criminal code. Harassment by phone is illegal. 4 to 5 calls a day to one number, we should be allowed to break their phone...

- UpsetApril 3, 2013 at 8:52pm rec'd a call from 239-415-4400. Answered the call. No one said anything. Annoyed!!!!!!! Told the silence, my number is on the DNC Registry. Do not call again, or you will be reported. I make a habit of REPORTING (a.k.a. filing a complaint) EVERY unknown phone number. Maybe, if we all did this, DNC Registry will get tired of the complaints and do something about this mess. URGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

- aubryI work for SRBI and if you dont wanna take a survey-hang up. We aren't telemarketers,we aren't trying to get you to buy anything. The people in YOUR state or city hire US to call YOU and get your opinions on certain things for them. The computer automatically dials numbers for us and we don't see what's going in. The do not call list does not pertain to us because we are not solicitors. If you ask us to stop calling you, we write a note at the end to not call and then you shouldn't get any after that. You being rude about us and our jobs does nothing for anyone. You have your job to get money, same as us. This is the best some of us can get. Don't know who is calling you? Don't answer,listen if there's a voicemail,etc. Stop being vile to people that are trying to make the best of what they currently have.

Commerce depends on two things, supply and demand. No matter what you label it, this is telemarketing, you require participation to offer a salable 'product' to your customer. There are populations that feel under served and clings to any forum with an opportunity to make a statement.
Far larger is the group that feels if 'our' opinion is any degree of valuable we should be compensated; as you expect to be for investing resources in collection, assimilation, and graphing of information your customer requests. Those 25+ call center operators must cost a fair amount, even without a single call being answered. That doesn't concern a single member of the public one iota. That you took time out of your day to post your own opinion indicates just how pointless what you call a job, is.
That I took the time is different. It parallels what an operator hears from me IF THEY remain on the line.
For some reason they never do.
