Report a phone call from 250-260-3907 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- chrishchIf these are survey people from Rogers as some have mentioned, they are quick. I called Rogers with a question about my cell phone less than fifteen minutes ago. Then, I got a call from these people on my home phone line. I picked up, but didn't say anything, as I thought it was most likely one of those bots calling. Eventually, they ended the call.
- Kim replies to Chris1975Funny... I got a call from this number WHILE on the phone with Rogers! Reading all the posts, I'm thinking it's just a call centre, or a number that is just for call display purposes, but no one can be reached by dialing it directly. (dead end)
- DontBphooled| 1 replyIt's not Rogers and its not B.C. Hydro. This is a phisher. They get pieces of information about you from various places, and then use a computer program to change the number that you will see on your Call Display when they call you. They could be living next door to you, and may even be listening to your cordless telephone calls as well. That might explain how one of the writers here got a call discussing a phone call he made to Rogers. Often they are looking for patterns of movement to commit home robberies, or to commit credit frauds. Never, Never, Never, answer surveys or give personal information to anyone, unless you have made the call to the company yourself. These people are organized, professional thieves, and you should take phishing very seriously.
- FYII also received a call from this number, though i didn't pick up, as it is a number from BC and I am in Ottawa. Same as many other people who posted here, I had a phone conversation with a technical support agent from rogers very recently. If this is a case of phishing, rogers should do something to protect the privacy of its clients. I cant believe this has been going on since 2007. Thank you all for your posts.
- Ryan replies to DontBphooledLol... That is quite the conspiracy theory. Look at http://www.sqmgroup.com/donotcall.html and then look at http://www.sqmgroup.com/clients.html SQM doesn't survey just Rogers or just BC Hydro. SQM Group works with over 400 different call centers to do customer satisfaction surveys

Is there anybody out there who can put leash on these LOW LIVES?? - Everett Martin| 2 repliesAs a long-time Rogers customer, I can tell you that this is a 100% legit customer follow-up service that they've implemented in the past year or two. It's automated and asks you to assess the quality of your recent call to Rogers' customer service. It appears that it is indeed SQM, so you may get calls from the same number for other services (BC Hydro, etc.)
If you screen your calls and don't answer, they do not leave a message, but will keep trying for a few days. Best thing to do is to answer, but then decline to go forward with the survey (unless you had a very good or very bad experience with your initial customer service rep, in which case you may want to proceed.)
I can't speak for why the system may hang up instead of going ahead with the survey. It must be a technical glitch. I agree that it may be beneficial to call Rogers (or the 800 offered if you call back to the 250 number) and ask to be taken off the survey list.- Caller: Rogers
- Ryan replies to Everett Martin| 1 replyIf you would like to be removed from the surveying list, please input your phone number into the Do Not Call List located at http://www.sqmgroup.com/do-not-call-list This will ensure we do not survey you for any of the 400+ companies we do surveys for
