Don't panic.  Call back says "You've reached a number displayed for calls from the Provincial Government."  Not particularly helpful but tells you to consult the blue pages for a complete directory.  Why not check the blue pages or published numbers online and call to find out if they were, in fact, conducting such a survey? Call display noted Gov't of BC I checked second missed number it noted BC Government both hung up no message left

A woman called my wife's cell phone. Said she was from some Ministry place. Said my husband gave my number out as his number.  He talked to her and she said I had bought a bed in Dawson Creek, BC and wanted payment.  I told her I do not live in Dawson Creek and never bought a bed anywhere then he hung up.  The number has been blocked.

I have called it back and all it gives me is to look up the local blue pages... then when i looked up that.. it just gives random ministry numbers to call. I called a few and they can't find any leads on that number. I have blocked the number on my cellphone but that only stops it from ringing, it still leaves a voicemail and it just consists of beeping.

Called me, but didn't leave a message, which led to this site to see what other people are saying about this number.
