What the heck is going on....they are calling various lines at work 4-5 times daily.  AHHHHh!!!

Please be aware that th is a telemarketer with a Michigan area code. The telephone number is 269-768-2102. When you call the number back, the recording states that if you want to be removed from this list to indicate your number. I have done this several times and to no avail. In fact, the telemarketer has been calling me at least a dozen times a day which is very disruptive and harassing. I have registered my number with the donotcall.gov web site with the federal government.

I have done some research and the Michigan number  is connected with a Lucre, Inc. located in Bellevue, Michigan. There are also several consumer blogs on the Internet indicating that this telemarketer represents itself in a variety of ways including: car warranty company, yellow pages, superpages. They also use the name of Pacific Hub. Some consumers and businesses report that the telemarketer is pretending to renew subscriptions the consumer do not have and often the telemarketer has a very thick accent to suggest they may be calling from out of the country. Some consumers report that they can trace the call to the Philippines and when the telemarketer is confronted they just hang up. When I talked with one of the telemarketers, I asked politely for his name, the company's name and what the corporate headquarters was--he refused to give me any of this information. When I told him I was contacting the Attorney General he hung up immediately.

First of all Consumers need to fight back. Do not allow yourselves to become victimized by these scam artists. If all of us consumers stuck together and immediately reported this type of fraud we could catch these crooks in action.
First things first register all of your telephone numbers on the national Do Not Call registry:

Once you are registered, if the scam artist, telemarketer or fraudulent business calls you back then you can report them directly to the United States Government and an inveistigation will ensue. Minimally, they will face heavy fines. The more we report them the bigger the fines and it will enable our government to shut them down.

Secondly, on this particular numbr since it is registered in the state of Michigan, call, contact or write the Michigan Attonrey General. Most AG’s dislike their citizens being victimized. Again-0-the AG or even the Feds cannot do anything unless you file a formal complaint.

They call me and breathe only - noise in background

Quit calling!!!! I'm so sick of these people calling me at work...it's so frustrating!!!

Go the call just now from 269-768-2102, caller ID said pacific hub. I didn't feel like battling telemarketers so I didn't pick up. No message was left, and then a "Private Name, Private Number" called immediately after and only rang twice before hanging up.

Upon ANOTHER receipt of phone call - with no one there (obviously their telemarketing software doesn't connect the call ever time), I have put the call on hold to run up their phone bill (been there 8 minutes now!)

If you call 1 269-768-2102 and follow the prompts, they will take your number off of their Call List.  Takes up to 30 days, but so worth it!

I work in an inbound call center.  A man with a very heavy accent called and asked for my sup or the office manager.  Immediately I was suspicious.  I asked for his account number and he said "just give me the office manager."  I again asked for his account number and he hung up.  
Gotta love it.

They have called our business and will hang up when the phone is answered with the business greeting. If we answer with a Hello (caller-id) they will ask for the owner but will not give any info. When my assistant told them to not call back and take us off the list we were called back and they blew a loud whistle into the phone. Not the most professional people!

These people called our company 6 times after I told them we were not interested in their services. Each time the man called back and threatened to bill us anyway. He was very rude and obnoxious. [***] shouldn't even be able to dial a phone number. How is it o.k. to threaten to send a bill to someone after being told 6 times no!!!!! Please remove us from this calling list.

This man was very rude and obnoxious... After telling him we were not interested in his services, he called back threatening to send a bill anyway. I hope he gets fired and never finds work again. [***] like him belong in prison....This is plainly harassment.

I tried to remove us from the calling list and it wouldn't let me.... It keeps giving me the run around about the number not being valid...[***]. They are stubborn, obnoxious, rude, vultures....trying to steal money from innocent people, the man told me he was going to send a bill anyway. And called back several times after me continuously hanging up on him. I finally just let my fax pick up hope his ears are still ringing.

I've been getting these calls all week several times a day. Today I reported them to the do not call registry but for know I've saved the number as "telemarketer" so I don't just ignore it. From what I hear a cell phone can't be put on the do not call registry?

Caller ID reads "Pacific Hub 269-768-2102" and has called many times.
Man with heavy accent wanted to sell a SUPERPAGES.com online listing for $$$ or only $86 for the local listing. He asked me to answer questions whos answers are already posted at SUPERPAGES.COM. Which showed me that he was NOT WITH SUPERPAGES.COM AT ALL. I found our company is listed online already at SUFERPAGERS.COM for FREE. This mystery man is a Very RUDE, pushy, and demeaming SCAMER. I had to hang up, he would NOT take "NO" for and answer or agree to take me off his calling list. Some Nerve!
We have been getting the calls that our auto warrentee is about to expire also. We ask every time to be removed but they call over and over, looks to be the same scammer.

I receive this call several times a day! Even I answer the call, it says nothing! Is there any way to stop them to call me??
