Survey company. Called in the middle of the night to ask about my experience with vectren. Was very rude and hateful.

No, these people are not telemarketers. They are just calling your resident to ask a brief series of questions. In reality the people you should be cursing at is not the person on the line that is begging you to take their five minute survey in fear of losing their job at any moment, its the employers themselves. Within the horrible 3 months I worked there, I saw atleast over 100+ people be "let go". Elderly men and women, pregnant women,honestly it doesn't matter who you are or how good you are at your job....no matter how long you are employed by these unprofessionals, you will never have job security. So take pity on the interviewers. Their not the ones who have sold their soul.

you call me than hang up when i pick up the phone. i understand that in Illinois is is not legal to use auto dialers for tele marketing or survey calls. i also understand that when your auto dialer gets one to answer it hangs up on the rest it called at that time.

I cannot believe you are on this page calling people ignorant! Perhaps I should forward a screen grab to your boss. You're taking this all way too personally. Big surprise, people don't appreciate unsolicited telephone calls!
I was here to find out who called me and hung up. I talked to the girl earlier and told her to call me back after I got off work. Now I'm just going to call and get removed from your list. Because if they employ people like you to represent them in public, I don't trust them with my information.

I just made a phone call. I let them know how you're representing the company.

I wish for once this damn company would listen to us! This number 270-650-2080 calls and NEVER leaves a message and calls twice a day!!  Are you (Thoroughbred Research Group) that stupid?? Most of theses hang ups are computers that are doing research on what time a person answer they phone and then the company sales your number and best time to call to other companies so they can bug you too.

To Employee - I've just read several of your posts and I have to say that I do NOT believe that telemarketers OR people employed to take survey's make "big bucks" as you stated. What a load of stinky bs! Anyway, why are you here constantly defending your job when all people are saying is that they are sick of these calls and do not feel as if they even want to trust them. First of all, just because I do business somewhere does not mean I am legally bound to answer any survey - and I, for one, do not care for these surveys for a personal reason that took place in 1983 by my husband's ex who decided she would pose as just that - a phone surveyor! And I politely answered many questions until the questions became personal and unrelated to the initial jist of the conversation, and then I guessed who the caller was and told her she was a jerk and our call was over and then hung up on her. (And NO, I did NOT break up their marriage; I met my husband AFTER they were divorced, just in case you choose to take the low path.) Anyway, I do not care for any company chasing after me for surveys. If I want to take a survey I want to do it annonymously and on my own terms. In other words, leave the postcard on their counter and if I want to pick it up and fill it out, I will. Calls are not only annoying, but intimidating. And I already don't care for you based on your   constant replies to all of the people. Get over yourself. Not all people want to comply, and it isn't a crime not to!

You are so completely full of it. I received the 8th call today from Thoroughbred Research Group and it went exactly like this;

Me> "Hello"

Caller> "hello I'm ----- ------ calling to ask if you would participate in healthcare survey"

Me> No, and this is the 8th time I've told you to take me off your list. You're disrupting my household."

Caller> "well if you would just take 10 or 15 minutes to complete the survey I promise we won't call you again"

Me> " Are you telling me that if I don't do not participate you'll keep calling and disrupting my household, even though I told you to stop calling?"

Caller> "yeah, pretty much, it's my job."

Me> "I'm recording this call and if I get one more harassing call from you I'll sue you. DON'T CALL ME AGAIN!"

Employee, you are as dishonest as they come.

I don't answer unknown numbers, or numbers I don't recognize. I let it go to voicemail and if they're important they usually leave a message. I got three min of a low buzz. No message, no company name, no nothing else. just a buzz. Very infuriating.

Yea however we don't want to be asked if we're on a cell phone or not we don't want to be asked a billion questions...how bout I'm on a do not call list!!! That mean do not call or you and ur company can and will be fined.

I call bull on this i tryed to call back no answer ever. So i called nipsco the company you say you represent and the know nothing all of this after one of your people after the 5th time calling me I TOLD HIM NOT TO CALL ANY MORE. HE TOLD ME I DONT WORK FOR YOU I DONT HAVE TO DO WHAT YOU SAY !!! ITS A SCAM OF SOME SORT !!!!

They have called me 2 days in a row from Florida and Kentucky. No one ever calls my cell, but as soon as I gave the number to IKEA, boom.
I am 99.9% sure they are the responsible party.
It may also be the tv repairman giving it out. I was just there as well.

Thoroughbred Reserarch Group, Why do you think it's OK to call people that are on the do not call list? That is a violation of federal rules, and subject to penalty.
