I have left my number to talk to the real attorney, she never calls back. She did inform me that she does has a law firm and a debt collection agency. The attorney is a nice lady but be warned that the women who answer the 281 number are not attorneys, they will claim their timi even giving out her bar number but eventually you talk to about 3-4 different people who claim to be Timi. Call the actual law firm and the real timi is a more laid back tone,  an older lady, she is alot nicer.

I called this company last week, they stated that i owe $1000.00. i did take this loan and when they asked me for my last 4 digit of my ss#. Since my brother in law is an attorney, i called him to make sure it was ok i gave them the information. He told me if the office asked for my last 4 digit of my ss#, it means they are doing the right thing because of the privacy act. He said that it this was a law fim, they dont want to break the law by telling someone's business. He told me to call the office and work out a payment plan with them. I asked the office to send me something showing that i owed the bill. They sent me a letter via email showing that this company was legit. I went online to search the company up and my brother in law was correct. He said they are legit that i need to pay. I called them back and they decided to offer me a settlement, i will be paying them when i get my income tax.

You havent really read much have u? U can pay no ones stopping u, i just preferred actual paper work and no what they emailed me was not the actual paper work. So i did not pay plus they did not send me my statement in the mail. I never said they were not a law firm but u must understand this is a seperate office. One is a debt collection (281) and the other an actual law firm. Both have different area codes. Do your research and im guessing u work for brithe and associates anyway.

I agree everyone should be treated with respect and dignity but to have someone make up malicious lies and say that Brithe A** isn't a Law Firm is defamation of character to the attorney and the firm. If anyone had any doubt research Texas Bar and SOS also BBB.  I do work for the firm and there is no debtor jail and I'm pretty sure no one was told that. Mrs. Ogun is a strict lawyer and their compliance department monitors everything. In my knowledge in collections or litigation people come to this forum to get out of paying debts, to make companies look like the bad guys when in truth its the right thing to do. Also McKenzie our job isn't to put this on your credit report its the creditors job. Its really sad that you have to come this forum daily to try and sabotage a company because you owe a bill. There is always someone you can talk to besides the person you had a problem. I also realize everyone that owes a bill wants to pay a their leisure not putting themselves in the creditor position and remembering the original agreement. I wish everyone well in resolving any debts they have. Its really sad that the same people are coming this this forum daily just to be negative maybe I'll talk to Mrs. Ogun and see how we can trace the emails and see who is trying to deliberately ruin her good name as well as Law Firm. A Law Firm isn't a billing agency  or job is to send you a letter informing you that your account has been placed with a law firm maybe you should have kept your  actual paper work or your contract, however McKenzie their are 2 separate offices one office she is just a partner (Ekwem & Ekwem )and the other is her Law Firm is her own (Brithe & Associates). in that respect I will speak with Mrs. Ogun about the defamation of character against our law firm as well as herself. Speaking things that you may think is your opinion but the statements you are making are in fact untrue and which is defamation of character against in entity.

I have talked with Timi and she is a nice lady. The people at the collections are mean. I just dont understand how you can say what is being said about the collections agency is untrue when most of the comments written are all consistent with everyone expressing how rude and unprofessional the employees are. This is not defamation of timi but unfortunately it is her company, maybe train the employees better.

a lot of different names keep calling me from this number posing as brithe and assoc, law firm and threatening , I old them to send me a letter stating all that they are saying I owe and who and they wont,

also ,they keep saying that they sent me letters I have never received any and she said she didn't believe me, she asked for a fax number which I don't have she was real mean ansd would not let me talk kept talking at the same time, just accusing me of trying to get out of a debt, if I was trying to get out of it I would not have paid 500.00 and then another 200.00 and it is not recorded on their books, her name is MRS LOVING.

When She Said The Address It Was Wron And She Began Yelling At Me StaTing this was the address I used on an application for a loan. when I asked her to send me something by mail to the correct address she stated that her law office will not be sending me anything by mail any longer because the that was so outdated that I needed to pay immediately she said the only thing they will send me of something by email I told her I will not be sending them any money unless I have something in writing in my hand not in an email she then of course speaking became very angry yelling at me and talking over me and eventually hung up on me. I'm sorry but no reputable company would make me send a payment to them without being able to send me something in writing by mail. needless to say they can call all they want but they will not be getting any money from me unless they decide to change your mind and send me something so I can have documentation in writing.

I also got a call from 2816689925 from a Mr Davis from some B & associates lawfirm saying i have to call them and refer to case #??????? and immediately hung up

Got a call from this number today from a woman claiming to be with a law firm looking for a guy I never heard of...she called me on a number that I got from a "special" Tmobile add-a-line deal....
Apparently TMobile is rolling bad credit customers abandon lines out to good users for an extra $5 /month. Then you get the debt collectors from the previous user of the number calling you. Be careful, they will try to assign the debt to you. They are a fraud, and as is typical, the fcc will not do anything about it...thank you BO!

The law firm called me at work, I told them that I can't receive any personal phone calls. I gave them my cell number and they won't call me back. Instead, they are calling my family and friends trying to get in touch with me. I even called them at the Atty office, left so many mess., they still won't call me back. I called again and left my home address, so they can mail me something.  I will see, what happens??????

i would like to reply to this. I would like to start with saying i do not have a problem with paying the debt. I am aware that i owe the debt and i am aware that i owe the debt, but when you try to make any kind of arrangements other than what you originally agreed to due to the fact that you have had unforeseen emergencies come and might be able to make the payment on that exact date you get screamed,told i don't care how you get the money you just better have it in the bank by tomorrow or better yet i suggest you go pawn something to get the money. This woman is in your enforcement part of the business.  I have never been treated so rude in my life and  I work in retail and have had to handle some pretty mean people. Just so you know the reason I needed to change the arrangements was I had to take off of work because my mother was having severe chest and I am the one that lives with her. I work 2 jobs and go to school full- time. I am working my rear off to try to make better. Again last month I unfortunately hurt my back and have not been able to work either job since July 16th, when i tried to get this very rude lady to help me said I have already helped you once I WILL NOT help you again. So she sent the money through and now not only am  able about to have to pay you again but i am  negative $400 dollars in my account and the bank is threatening to close my account if I don't clear my negative balance which i cannot clear because i was just released from the doctor Monday. So sometime this evening I will get that call and when I tell her I can't pay she is going to scream and yell again. It is not that i don't want to pay it can't right this moment and I  doctor's notes and can prove I have been back and forth to the doctor every other week since middle of July. So if this truly is not a horrible group of people like I have been dealing with since may I would appreciate a call from  someone maybe the attorney because if I tell the enforcement
person I need help she going to scream and yell and tell me fine if you are telling you are not going to pay then I will give it to the attorney and she will prosecute from here.If you cannot help my next letter will be to the Better Business Bureau. Like I said originally it is not that I  do not want and not that  agree I owe the debt. I having a very difficult time right now I don't even know how my kids, my mom and I will eat for the next  two weeks or how I will get gas to go to work or school.

Thpught i would update my situation with Brithe and Associates. After arguing and arguing with them i finally let them know there will be no payment without proper paper work. They refuse to send anything to me in the mail. Email doesnt count. I refused to pick up their number cause whats the use in talking to people like that. Obnoxious and rude ladies. Eventually i finally had enough once they started calling my parents so i typed up a letter for validation of debt and sent it to their address on their website. I have not heard from them since then. Another thing on another website someone actually lost their job due brithe and associates harrassing calls.

People, you don't have to pay this tacky illegal company. Go to the Credit Bureau yourself and pay... this company will take money out your account without the dates you authorized, and they were calling my bank lying saying they are me.......Let's be honest, this company is a regular collections agency that has integrity issues. I have had issues with them and many others with literally taken money out my account. I did a charge back and closed my account immediately due to them. I advise anyone pay your debt to the Credit Bureau; they will be less stress and problems, and there is much more I can say......The lady talking about defamation of character, OMG.......Have you heard of this people....Yeah, you must be that paralegal that lies and never can say you're the attorney who is really the attorney. Who I will not accept a call from these guys at all.....Please be advised, people. Yeah, if it's on your credit, call the original creditor or the Credit Bureau; Bureau, Bureau, Bureau, and fix the problem that demands large amounts of payments....It's a collections agency. Agency, take what I give you. If you refuse my payment, I don't have to pay, and they don't have license to collect in a lot of states......They are a bunch of crap....Law firm no......They really don't help anything; they cause more problems. I'm in a good law suit now against them......Make sure they say Miranda, and they skipped trace my brother. Is that legal? They harassed me 73 year old grandmother...Come on guys, there is a better way to make money or even to treat people.....

I talked with the Davis guy he actually helped me not taking up for this place but he is about the only I had a chance to talk to without threats and yelling I'm paying him now.........he's respectful and understanding so I paid and will do again.........what did he do wrong you need to talk to him and work something out
