Hey guys as a professional telemarketer here is some advice.
Please be respectful towards the caller, most of us are real people who have been brought to tears with some of the disgusting things that you prospects say to and about us. As followed by the national telemarketing laws a telemarketing firm can place calls from 8am till 10pm. That is the law. Political and non selling calls are exempt from the national do not call list. I suggest if you don't appreciate the calls to KINDLY ask to be removed from the list. Remember it can take up to 15 business days to fully remove a number so please be patient.  It is an automated dialer system meaning the caller has no idea what number she is dialing until it is already dialed and sent to her computer.  It make take some time for the telemarketer to start talking. Again,  not the person calling yous fault. Tuesday computer sends out a block of numbers and they go to the first available tsr.  If all tsrs are on the phone, it can take a few seconds. Don't be rude once you get a voice, many times the tsr takes an average of 40-50 calls an hour. Do the math, thats almost 1 per second.  

Again please remember we are usually humans just like you trying to make a living. If not for the money I make at my job I would be relying on you to work for me. So again, please respect me. I'm just doing my job to pay for my college so when I am done I can help benefit society.  Thanks for reading.  I appreciate your time.

Got a call at 11:12pm from this number. Woke me up. Thought they could not call this late.

I have the solution to telemarketers..www.digitone.com   they sell a call blocker up to 80 numbers, just program those in that are haunting you day and night and zappo, no more disturbances..greates invention for only $100. try it, it works..

I had a very similar experience this evening.  The call began like a legitimate political survey but it didn't take long before the questions took on an obvious slant in favor of the republican candidates.  This is a wolf in sheep's clothing.  Totally not legit - they're just spewing republican political propaganda.

Got a call multiple calls from this number. I did not answer it and they did not leave a message.

called twice in 10 mins, put on my black list.  REALLY?  Sunday night I got nothing better to do than answer this junk?  No way.

I am sure we understand you are humans doing someone else's bidding for money.  The issue is larger than that - when a system is so broken it cannot function then the onus lies with the employees (i.e.,, YOU) to explain to your "employer" that the system is not working.  I have no clue what benefit to society it is when some political nonsense babbler calls me after 9PM when I myself have a job that helps the economy and I have to be up by 3:30AM.  I believe I should have to OPT-IN to these calls, not OPT-OUT.  I'm sure a bunch of lonely grandmas would love the contact but for me this is an invasion of the few moments I have on my own.  Text me, email me, (don't freaking think of killing a tree to contact me), but DON'T phone me.  I don't need you, I don't want you, I don't even think there is a use for what you do.  But in a capitalistic society if someone pays you fine, that is OK, but leave me out of the equation until the time I opt-in. So glad you found a "job" that pays your college bills.  But hey, unless you are planning to continue this as a real career, why not do something more in line with whatever you are majoring in?  Oh, I hope it is not Political Science or Social Work or one of those things that pretends to be some kind of basis for an education.  Because then it is clear why we are so far behind the rest of the world in every useful non-euphorian segment of work.  And again, I mean none of this personally to ms. professional telemarketer, I mean it towards anyone who can be brainwashed enough to believe calling real working people about ridiculous nonsense after 9PM is a benefit to society.  I've never seen the study that proves THAT is useful!  Again, no personal malice intended.  Just venting about having to shut my phone off before I go to sleep, worrying about if my parents die in the night I'll miss the call but sure if I keep it on I'll answer questions about the merger of 2 no-name banks or some political nonsense.

This is part of something bigger than we first think.

This to me seems like a poll or inquisition put in motion to see whether we as Americans believe in American policies. I'm of the highest belief this is all part of the Obama administrations plot to defend their illegitimate victory in 2012. I feel those of us being called are the ones who have the most doubts in our country. I also feel we are called because we deactivated our Facebook accounts.

They called 9/25/12 in the evening.  Again 9/26 @ 7:13 pm and 9/27 @ 5:;57 pm.  I have caller ID so don't answer.  They're out of Texas.  I've been getting these calls for a long time but just started keeping track.

Some company called from this number trying to sell a home security system.  It's a robo-call which is illegal anyway plus I'm on the DNC list.  So whoever the telemarketer is above telling everyone here to calm down, IT'S ILLEGAL!!  If you were doing what these people are doing, you deserve all the nasty things that are said to you.  If you don't like it, get a different job.

wife received a call and there is no reson for it

Got a call and they asked about consumer research. I said I was not a consumer and they had reached the wrong number. Hope they don't call again.

Caller ID shows "CONSUMER RESCH". Recorded message wanting to install a free alarm system. Just let them put a sign in my yard. Recorded message says to press "1" to speak to an agent or press "3" to be removed from their list. I pressed "5" and the message repeated. I keep their line tied up about 10 minutes by pressing 5 over and over again.

called me just now its one of those security system things i pressed one to blow my vuvuzela it transferred me to an operator and i heard a noise and it hung up

has anyone received a call from (281) 825-4339 and answered the call?   I have received
several calls, but havn't answered!!  Does qnyone know who this is calling??

This company called me at work and said that I could get a free security system by just allowing them to put a sign in my yard advertising that fact.

This number called me about ten time in the last week.. never leaves a message
