I do not want these type of calls! What can be done to stop them?

I keep getting these on my cell phone - unfortunately the real solution to these robo unwanted calls has not been discussed in the past.

The enablers of these intruders are the phone companies. If they wanted to, the could dramatically reduce the number of undesireable calls that occur. However, they have no compelling reason to do so. They make money on every completed call and also charge you for the added infrastructure they need to support the calls.

What we need is for a groundswell of complaints to the regulatory agencies that supposedly monitor and regulate the industry. Hopefully  someone reading this can use the social networks to make more people aware

Called my cell and said that I could get a free security system by just allowing them to put a sign in my yard advertising that fact. When I hit 9 to get off of their list the line went dead. A$$holes.

Do you use the same technique whenever someone upsets you?  I'd hate to be the one serving you coffee at Starbucks after you had to wait in a long line!  It's a shame you would intentionally try to hurt somebody...that's terrorism in my book dude.

F..ing telemarketer calling my mobile... will file a complaint.

voter research companies and political calls are not regulated by the national do not call list.  they are exempt by law

People!!! Report these numbers to the FCC. FCC- look it up on the internet. They will help.

I keep a call from this number EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, I answer it and there is no answer, It says from Texas on caller ID, I too am on the don't call list. And it JUST DOESN"T WORK, the calls just keep on pouring in. I am disabled, And this is really annoying. I get so many of those stupid calls at all hours every day. And I need my rest. It REALLY royally pisses me off, that they put out the don't call list that is absolutly useless.

Press 9 to get your added to there do not call list - I thought if you were registered they were not supposed to call.
Press 1 to talk to someone about not calling anymore and they hang up on you.
How do I report this number, and who do I report it to?

"THE FBI REPORTS...... BLABLABLA". After so many annoying calls today I Kept on pressing "0" for 15 minutes and the message will repeat itself for that long, LOL.
Then the call was drop. I wonder how many calls I prevented by doing this?

Didn't answer, they keep leaving voicemails, it's a telemarketer trying to sell you a security system.  If you actually take the call you can supposedly hit 9 to be deleted from their call list.  I might try that next time, I might not.

Some one from this number left me a message but it sound as if it was someone sticking their tongue out. Disgusting. Who are they and how did they get my CELL phone number

They keep calling and ask if our security system is armed. It is, and if they come to check it out, they'll need stitches! Once my son answered the call from them to his cell phone. They were asking about the security system then too. They frightened him..... Seems like their should be a law against these creeps calling children on their phones. Who knows, maybe they're trying to find out if my son is home alone.....  Their reference to FBI seems like effort to make you think you have to give them answers..... They scared my son, but they won't scare our security system!

got a call December 3, 2012 from this # on my Net10 phone - didn't answer it - hope they all die

Got a call this evening at 8 pm.  A female wanted to talk to the youngest in the family to take some kind of a survey.
I told her no thanks and she politely hung up.

Received an unwanted call from this number. I pay for all my calls. I am on the Federal and state do not call list.

Tell them to stop.

This Co. has been sending me 3 or 4 TEXT msgs per week for the last couple of months. Since I don't subscribe to text messaging (I never use it) my cell Co. charges me $.20 per message just to receive them. WEATHER I READ THEM OR NOT. Sometimes this adds up to several dollars per month.

IS THERE ANY WAY TO STOP THESE JERKS?   I'VE HAD MY COMPANY BLOCK THEIR NUMBER.
