Got a missed call yesterday at 6:52pm PST. No message was left. I have Verizon.

just got a call. its december. the robotic male voice said, "jennifer has sent you a message...(unintelligible)...to listen to it press 1. i waited to see if it would replay but then i was disconnected. so odd. i have verizon

Got this call on my cell..........didn't reconize the number, didn't answer. I have AT&T. As soon as cell numbers became published I put my number on the DNC list. First call like this that I've received. Who are they???

Got a call from this number with a recorded message that asked some dumb question about soccer and softball ("for softball, press 1"), then said it was sponsored by McDonald's. I'm on Verizon.

Just received this call.  Did not answer my phone at the time.  What is this all about?

I let it go to voicemail too.  just a bunch of noise.  I'm irritated.  I googled the number too.  I am with Qwest.

Also received a call on my cell phone from this number.  Caller did not say anything, but didn't hang up either.  I live in the Pittsburgh area and use Verizon; have had the same cell number for about 5 years.

Just gone one--they left "voicemail" which was nothing but dead silence (not the normal staticy silence). My number that was called is not a cell phone, but a VOIP line (Vonage).

Wow, what a useless site.  Hey people, we don't need to know every incidence of this happening.  There is no use having a site that goes, it happened to me, it happened to me too, it happened to me twice.  Who cares!  HAS ANYONE FIGURED OUT WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT?!?!

Well good news, I have.  go to heycosmo.com, down near the bottom right of the screen it says "block/unblock calls", click there, enter your number.

This is a site where other people put in your number to send you jokes and crap, so reporting it to the FCC is useless.  Someone is asking them to call you.  I assume that most people on this site, like me, probably had someone enter a wrong number so we got it instead of the intended target.

And for future reference, if you have something like this happen again, and you come to a forum like this, we don't care to see every single person dumbly stating that it happened to them if you have no actual useful information.  Information that it took me like 5 seconds to get.

Some ad about McDonalds.  I filled out a complaint on the do not call registry.
