Got the call too... waited a few rings so I only caught the last part of the message, then it hung up.

I have AT&T in SoCal, am on the donotcall list, and I've filed a complaint.

Received the same call. Could not understand much of the pre-recorded message, but got something about "Cosmo Blast" or something of that nature.

Got call on my cell same as most heycosmo press one, I hung up then called froma land line outside of home the it says i have a message from heycosmo press 1 to hear 2 to insudiable and if you want and then goes busy.  What kind of scam is this, I am also onthe do not call list.

I received the same call on the 16th around 1:00 pm.  Same stupid robotic message as above, "thinking of siding my house, press 1, etc........".  Will be watching my verizon bill for any charges.

Got the same call on 12/15/2008, didn't pick up called back and something about accessing my records etc. My caller ID is blocked to the outside world and it also on the DNC list

Rec'd this and I have Cingular/AT&T. However, did not answer because you verify a valid number when you do.

i got a call from 302336405 sayin the same stuff as the rest of u guys and they called me at 915  in the morning the next day the same number called my friend who was in the same class as me at 916 am. wtf is this [***] i dont no how they got my number but i looked up the number and found the place they called from on google maps search

I received a call today at around 2PM from (302)-336-7405.  I called the # back from my cell phone, however as soon as I called I was put on hold. I hung up, and called from a land line.  The voice recording gave no type of indication as to why the call was made.  I looked up the #, and it is a land line.  The provider is Snip Link LLC, and it is located in Dover, DE.  If we can't report these calls to the FCC, just as cell phone owners please also be aware of the scams that are taking place with companies calling from a state number and charging your phone per minute as a long distance call to another country.  Everyone be safe, if you are hesistant to answer a call check the # or area code on whitepages.com before you call it back.  You can check the #, through reverse look-up.  Be safe!

Yes, it's HeyCosmo. Some of their services sound useful but others (like prankster) are not ones I would like to receive a call from. And their business practices are sneaky (see below).

Apparently, if you call this number back, you will hear an option to block your number. Instead, I blocked mine using their web site. Either way, if they ask you whether you are calling from a cell phone or whether your phone is capable of receiving a text message, RESPOND NO or you will start receiving text message spam.

To block HeyCosmo calls using their web site, you must have your phone handy. Visit www.heycosmo.com. Click Block/Unblock and enter your number. You will receive a phone call on that number a few seconds later. Follow instructions. You will have to press various digits. After each press, listen immediately for the next instruction. REMEMBER: When it asks you if your number is a cell/mobile phone, RESPOND NO or you will start receiving text message spam.

If you do receive text message spam, call the number in the text message and opt out. You may still receive spam every few minutes for up to 24 hours after you opt out. I turned off my text message ring tone during that 24 hours.

Caller in robot man voice ...couldn't understand him but at the end he said this menu will keep repeating.. What?!?

I received a call from this number but didn't recognize it so I didn't answer it.  I then inadvertently dialed it by hitting the send button and then pressed 3 to lock calls. That's when the trouble began as I started getting calls from my home although my wife said that she didn't call but her phone had rung.

Caller was irate, said I'd been e-mailing them from my number, which was not true and left some long odd message that I only listened to the first second of with a strange accent, sounded like a man pretending badly to be a woman...

I got the call but it was 559-473-4305. pressed one said no message whent to main menu and listened to options . press 3 to block future pranks.

Just got the same call from 559-473-4305 that said "Someone has sent you a cosmo blast. Press 1 to listen to the message" from hey cosmo.

Got a call from 978-414-4149.  Used my work phone to call back to see who it was and surprise it was Hey Cosmo.  I hung up.  I am a Verizon customer in Houston.

Yeah I got the same "press 1 to receive your message" recording when I called the number back and I have Sprint.  The only thing I have done today is download free games on my Evo, when you do so the app. tells you what information of yours will be available to the company that made the game, in some cases it's all your info (contacts, where you go on the web, etc) since I just got the call today I am betting my info was given or sold to this company. Great! I am probably going to get a hundred more of these.

973-327-7086 and I called back, repeatedly, to jam their line... the app is probably something anyone can get who finds out about it and that's why the calls come from so many different numbers.  It seems that far fewer posts about these 'heycosmo' calls are showing up here (last post is Aug, '10, then the next one back is Oct, '09).  Maybe the people finding the app and using it on their phone realize that it does nothing.  Some people have nothing to do, nothing to say and nothing to feel good about. Oh well.

called said unavailable yet when i  placed a call using a 1 in front i was told number was not in service.Then how do they CALL?
