Unsolicited calls to cell phones are the best way I can think of to alienate.  If it's a marketing gimmick, it's too sad.

today the message was from "heycosmo.com". Message wanted me to hit "1" for more info or hit their website. I did neither and filed a complaint to the do not call site.

Most annoying call ever. Reported.

Same here - verizon - NY. Didn't pick up since I didn't know the number.

This is the number that DirecTv uses to confirm installations.

That is what they called me about and that is what i was getting...

There seems to be a lot of people paranoid on this site...  It is not the vast conspiracy you thought it was :-)

No, it isn't DirecTV. I just got a call from this number, and I haven't arranged for DirecTV instillation, nor do I even have a TV. You're probably the scammer to begin with.

I received three calls from this number (didn't answer). No message was left. My provider in AT&T.

"Getting a (inaudible) blast from (inaudible).  To hear it, press 1."  Is this some scam to get me to okay a charge on my bill of some sort???

Just got a call from this number, didn't answer. I have Sprint PCS.

Just got a call from a robotic male voice.  The first part was unintelligible.  The rest was press 1 to accept this call, then press 1 if you want to party at the tavern or should we go to the bar, or some such foolishness.  At first I thought my sister was sending me some kind of silly greeting, but when I figured out what it was, I hung up.  Now I'm wondering if I'm going to get a huge charge on my phone bill from accepting this call.

yes, i'm on t-mobile too!!  i got the call, didn't pick up because i didn't recognize the number and now i'm glad i didn't.  could it be t-mobile is giving out our numbers???
