Call received on east coast USA, at 7:49 pm Sunday Feb 13, 2009. Audible click and hang up took place after I said "Hello"

This number 310.429.5382 has been calling me too.

This number has been calling me alot too.

same story. it started three days ago and called me 33 times the first day. now, it is once every hour from 8 am til midnight. tired of the harassment....anyone have any leads as to whom this number belongs?

Just received a call from this number for the first time.  Did not pick up and no voicemail was left.

Have been receiving a number of calls from this number on my cell phone.  Caller always hangs up.  Am getting tired of this - and it is wasting my time.

it calls me and hangs up even after 9 pm which is illegal

This number has been calling my phone for the past 2 days every 2 hours or so starting at 8:00 in the morning all the way to 12:00 AM.

this phone number starts calling at 5am and does Not stop tell 9pm

Got 5 calls yesterday one at 11:14pm ..On a Sunday there is never ay one on the other line just the click of the phone hanging up.

I received a call from this number starting Sunday. At first, I did not think anything about it.  then I got the call around 10:00pm that night.  Again Monday morning at 7:30am.  I tried calling back and it stated it was a non working Verizon number,  I received a call around 12:33pm Monday from the same number.  I tried to call again, got no answer.    I got another call and anwsered the call, I was hung up on.   I called back and got the same answer that it was a non working number.   I want some answers about who this is, why they call so late, why Verizon states it is not an active number, but I am still getting the calls.   PI would suggest everyone contact Verizon about this situation.  I intend to.

I just received my first call from this number at 7:28 this morning. I am glad that I decided to look it up online. I am at work so couldn't answer anyways, but know better than to waste my time answering. I will be contacting my phone provider this evening to see if there is a way for them to block it. I amy also contact the FCC as some others have. Maybe if we all contact enough people something can be done about this. I am sure you are all tired of it. I am already tired of it and have only received one call. But reading all of you posts has me fed up already! Thanks!

received two calls yesterday and i finally returned the call and it says verizon wireless

I think you might be right I started getting calls from this & another number after a credit check thru a company when I thought about buying a product & then when I decided not to buy the product I started getting these calls.

calls all hours of day and night..  midnight to 5 am calls.. no message  no one on the phone when answered. Verizion number and they do not seem to care that it is making these calls. typical of them.

I started receiving calls yesterday and they continued throughout the night and into this morning.  Same thing, I called the number back and got the Verizon message.  I answered one time when my phone rang and heard the line hang up.  

I called Verizon a few moments ago and they were able to issue a block on this number.  Apparently it's only a temporary block (3 months), but they said that if the calls continue after the block expires, to simply call them back and they'll add the block again.  I suggest people keep calling them and maybe they'll dig into it deeper.

This is a person that is getting a blocked message and then they type this number in to get around your block on your phone...
