I'm glad I tried the reverse look up and found this site --- not going to try to call it back now.  Going to try to block it too.

Same thing is happening to me! I have recieved 17 calls since yesterday. This is absolutely ridiculous that this number has been doing this since 2008!

I have recieved two calls since this morning and have recieved the same lame verison recording when calling. This is 100% illegal and I believe that verison is also responisble for this since they will not let anyone know who it is, or shut it down. Two years people have been getting calls...That's insane! And nobody owns the number...What, are aliens taking over verison wireless and making prank phone calls? I kinda feel like having my lawyer send verison wireless a nice little message that says "Turn the number off, inform all the people which company or person is responsible, or get sued." Of course in way better fancy legal words...

Several times I get a call from this number and they hang up. Tried to call them back and the call wont go through

Been getting calls hourly as well from this number, same complaint as the rest of you...so i did some research...
These calls are and overseas scam operation. Basically it's an Auto Dialing Program that is being used in conjunction with Spoof Number App. using a throwaway pay as you go cell phone, the kind of phones you use buying those minutes cards and don't have an actual carrier. Basically pretty impossible to track. The number they are calling from is basically a hijacked number that is being spoofed.
The purpose of the calls is to try to get as much info as they can about you using a computer trace software. The information is then used for all kinds of things, like, scams, robocalls and trying to actually use your phone number as a spoof number. Pretty scary stuff. However, if you answer the next call quickly start pressing the numbers buttons on your keypad. This jams up the software and tricks it into thinking it has reached a fax line or Internet line. Hope this helps...the calls should stop

Same here. Started the day after I reported cramming on my phone bill. I bet it is the same scum bag company. Be sure you don't have unwanted charges to your phone bill and that your phone company has cram block turned on.

Got a call from this number on my verizon wireless cell number at 7am on christmas day. Very pissed.

It is the day after Christmas and I recieved 5 calls in the 5 hour period raning form 7 am to noon. Thjis is so frustrating!!!

same problem as everybody else......

Calls just started this morning at 6a.m. Same as everyone else no one there. I was reading some of the other posts and this goes back 2yrs!!!!??? I read one post that said to pick up the call and press the #2 button asap like 7 - 8 times. I just tried it Keeping my fingers crossed. :)

Received late night and early morning calls from the number above - no one on the other end - really irritating.

Over 2 years and this number still makes crank calls.....I wish I were an attorney...Verizon would take action before it got to court.

Just got a call from this number too... answered, and no one there. Maybe it's some sort of automated system call to see if the number it's calling is still active or something...

Have received two calls today within 1 hour from 310-429-5382. No message is left and when I call the number back, a machine answers saying "Welcome to Verizon wireless, the number you have dialed has been changed, disconnected or no longer in service."

keeps calling all hours of the night -

This person called me starting last night at 10:00, and today while i was in school at 7:37, 9:02, 10:11, 11:23, 1:51,  and i just recieved a call right now. I answered for the first time a couple of minutes ago and they hung up.

Received several calls from this unknown number; they never leave a message and I don't know who's calling.

Called my Cell Phone today at 1:45 PM. First time, and I hope my last. I didn't answer. My land line AND cell phone are on the Do Not Call List, and I'm a Verizon customer. The Caller ID came up "[No Name]"

I have been getting phone calls from this number all day long and no one is there. What is going on here? Does anyone know?
