Got a call from this number with recorded message for someone who doesn't live here threatening legal action, saying to contact an attorney and then said something about a restraining order. Who are these criminals and how do they getg away with this fraud?

been getting voicemails the other day saying i had a restraining order against me...called the number back and got a recording..looked it up and guess its a scam ... so i am reporting it, and ignoring it

Got the same call from a Detroit area code,  they left a vm about a civil matter, a restraining order, and blah blah blah, total bs! I've never even been to Detroit! I talked to a couple friends, atty and cop, they both said it's total bs, they can't notify you of a restraining order of civil matter by phone, you have to be served. Don't fall for this scam!!!!

Got the same message... Respondent has show cause and restraining order. Have lawyer contact within 4hrs. I called back and some rude ass man answered. My phone cut out so he was like "say your.name or I hang up". Fine by me!! It came up Hamtramack, Mi. Here's the kicker... I live in SC but from MI. And  my.phone isn't even in my name, but my sisters that lives in another state.I. Def not a call for me :)

FRAUD!!! give them nothing!! check your credit report, it is NOT on there!

These nuts need to be sent to the mental ward.  They have nothing better to do than to intefer with someelse's
life.  Can something be done about.

same thing just happened to me today...the crazy thing is I haven't owned a credit card since 2004...really!!! can anything be done about this jerk?

My twelve year old son had a message on his phone from this number.  I don't know what's happening in the seventh grade but I'm sure he has no restraining order!  Definitely a scam!!

I got this message on my cell phone but it named my husband.  I was furious with him and thought he had something going on with another woman.  He denied it adamantly and was angry that I thought he would do such a thing to me.  The message was the same as everyone else stated with the bank, restraining order, reference number, attorney, 24 to 48 hrs. and we couldn't get through when we called back.  It was a great relief when I Googled the number and came up with this "who calls me".  This call really caused a strain between my husband and I.  Thank everyone for reporting this; it really helped us out.

I received the same voice mail from this number.  That I have 24 to 48 hours to have me or my attorney call back.  Said they have a civil suit and a restraining order against me.  First of all it's a recording not a live person leaving the voice mail which is not legitimate and against the law to do that.  If you have anything like that out there you will receive something by mail or by hand delivery.

I got a voice message to call this number saying I was being sued and I need to call this number with a case #.  When I called they stated I defrauded a bank i have never heard of.  He had my name and my social and my address and asked if i wanted to settle a debt for less money today.  If not they would come and get me at my home or place of employment.  He stated i was contacted 16 by mail, which i wasn't.  When i said I knew nothing about this, he got louder and stated he would put me down for going to court and they would come serve me at my house or place of employment.  He would not give me any information.  I offered a fax so he could send me paper work and he said that was not necessary.

Yes I got a call about a restraining order but I haven't been in trouble with the law.

They left a voice mail saying that I have a restraining order agaisnt me. I've have not been in trouble with the law.

Got a call from them.....state same as others restraining order and such, called the number back, pressed 3 and got a live human on the phone Jason Kirby, informed him not to call my number again, that my husband works in the local field office in Houston for FBI, he thanked me and said have a great day, sorry to have disturbed me......lol. every one should call the number back and press 3.

at 9:06am got a call from a recorded message that Court Action Suit claim against me,( A17D1995- A Restaining Order,) for me  to contact my attorney immediately. or call 313-334-3113 for more information.
Buzz off stupid, I am not falling for this stupid prank.... Hope you get caught..
by the way death happened on 3/2002. but thank you for reminding me he died.

I recieved a call this afternoon saying there was a complaint filed against me, something about a restraining order and they left me a case number of A17D-1808 and that I must appear? I would like to know what this is about? When I called the number back I could not get through. Please help me fiqure this out

Ok, got the same call from this number. Call the number back and PRESS 3, you will reach someone it litigation.....I keep calling them back and just start sqeaking a loud dog toy in the phone and they hang up on me.....I don't know why  ;-( . Please call them back, block your number, don't say a word, make some loud annoying noise and they will hang up.!

I know for sure this is a scam. The account he mentioned for me had the wrong amount plus it was written off for bankruptcy. Plus he is working off old address. He must be hacking into the credit bureaus.
