I tried calling the number back to ask to be removed from the list as some people have mentioned, but all I got was a voicemail box and couldn't even leave a message because of course it was full.  Funny how they can auto-call you after business hours but when you try to reach them no one is there.

My phone company apparently sold out my number before I even KNEW the number so I have received dozens of these calls from all sorts of places just in the short time since my phone was turned on- I didn't even know the phone had been turned on and suddenly the calls started, that's how I found out I had phone service.  I see how they pay for your "free month", by selling your number to everyone but as soon as the free month is over I am going with someone else, and in the mean time if this company and everyone else doesn't stop calling I will definitely be reporting them all.

I have been recieving calls from 314-963-8895 also they call and hang up. I'TS getting really annoying I wish they would stop.

They have been calling my house several times.  I am in the "Do not call list".  It was quite easy to file a complain here https://www.donotcall.gov 

The more complains filed against them, the more likely action will be taken.

Called me this afternoon, so I looked it up here and called them back at their main office to ask that my number be removed from their list.  The lady who answered was very professional.

I'm on the NDC list too, so calls like this are REALLY irritating.

I have been getting calls from this number and so sick of it! I never gave them my number and only give friends and family and doctors my number...they need to quit calling me as I use my phone for emergencies and they take up too much of my time!!! who ever this is Pisa Group....LEAVE ME ALONE!!!

Same thing- they call and call and call and hang up as soon as you say hello- no delay like an auto dialer.  When you call them if you can get it to ring no one ever answers and after a few minutes it goes to a busy signal.  The ONLY way to stop is report them the the NDNC if you are on the list.  If not, check in your tate to see who handles harassing calls.

So I saw a post with someone's suggestion to call 314-845-2825.  The guy asked me if I'd ever called THEM to tell THEM to put me on THEIR DNC list.  I informed him I didn't have to because they are obligated by law NOT to call anyone on the NDNC list and I've been documenting their calls and reporting them.  I also explained I am a consumer reporter (which I am) and that I find myself living in the news story.  What could he do to ensure their company would not break the law again?  

I WOULD NOT WASTE MY TIME CALLING LONG DISTANCE.  FILE A NDNC COMPLAINT.  I called fishing for a story to help everyone.  My long dx can be written off. Go to:
https://www.donotcall.gov  and file your complaints.  The more they get the more PISA will be fined for not purchasing and following the list.  THAT is how you stop them.

I am so tired of this company calling me from 6am thru 9pm. I tryed to call the number back but its allways busy ! And it shows up on my caller id as unknown name. I have tryed all other avenues and yet i still get calls. Can someone please help me with these [***] !!!

I've continued to get calls from this number.  Fortunately, with the information provided by many of you, it's been verified that the number belongs to The Pisa Group.  This is a legitimate call center, concentrating on selling newspaper subscriptions.  I went to their website and drilled down to contact us.  Emailed their corporate office respectfully requesting them to remove my number.  I think that should work.

I have been getting calls every day for the last week from 314-963-8895 on my cell phone.  They never leave a message so am not certain who it is.  Thanks for your posts...I will not answer it at all now.

SOMEONE MUST KNOW how to get to this company to burn it down.  I despise these people. My poor mother is being innundated with calls that she cant answer but she is cute, she named this contact number 314-963-8895....[***].  Hey...its the little things in life eh?

I guess this scam is still going on. I have been getting this call for the past week. I registered with donotcall and called 314-845-2825 that Adam G suggested. It is still the Pisa group and they said they use that number to make calls. Is there nothing the BBB can do? They have been calling my cell phone, which I thought was illegal.

I have gotten calls from this number numerous times on my cell phone..I have never answered the calls because I do not have my cell with me when the calls are made. There is never a message and lists the call as unknown caller

Well Dan, how are we supposed to know that YOU aren't working for the Scam or whatever they keep calling me for? You could just be saying that to get us to answer && order whatever yall are scamming. I'm getting so annoyed because they call me every night. I never answer because of what has been said on here, and I'm not planning on answering any time soon. This is so annoying, BAGHH!!!

Why would someone in Missouri call you and ask you if you were interested in a Texas newspaper in the first place?
