Called me to restart my subscription for the local newspaper, but the local newspaper company don't contract out of state for that type of reason.

They (guys and girls) have called several times asking for Jack, I'm not jack. 2/2012-4/2012 They say they're from the SUN Times.  When I say Im not him they ask if im 18, I say have a good day they say c'mon are you 18 or not

So if this is a newspaper company calling because of a previous subscription, explain to me how they got MY number when I've never subscribed to a local newspaper. Something more going on here than that.

After I gave in and answered the local paper to tell them to stop calling me, I didn't want the paper anymore.  I started getting calls from this number.  I am on the Missouri no call list.  I ignored the calls then looked them up here.  Called them back.  Took a couple of options, 3, then 1, then 1 again; but i was finally told by the automated voice that I would be removed from their list.  We will see.

I've gotten 4 calls from them in the last day. Looked it up on google and found this thread. Very helpful. I used to have the KC Star so they think I might be a candidate for a subscription. Anyway Paula is correct. I just called them back at the same number that has been calling me and got the automated system. The option to remove your number (that you called in on) from their database is option #3. Then 1, then 1 again to confirm. I think it said it could take up to 48 hours. Anyway, easy.

Thank you SO MUCH for that information. I called the main number and that got through. When I'd called the number back that had called me, I kept getting hung up on.

my number has been registerered with donotcall for two years.  yet this number has been calling for almost three weeks- daily at random times.

If you are registered to not recieve calls, go to the do not call registry and file a complaint.

This number calls once a day and it rings oncce, then they hang up!

I called the number you gave and they say they will have it taken care of.  They were very polite and didn't hassle me.  So, don't be afraid to do call.

I emailed the CEO this morning.  I don't know if it will work or not

also said she would "forward my information to her other offices."

i have rec'd calls from this number for the past two weeks...   after reading through all of this...i have also called the main number  314.961.6200 and asked them to remove me from their call list and the nice gentleman (SHOCKING) apologized (even MORE SHOCKING) and said he would do it immediately!!

I was called no message was left. I woke up one day and had the Huntsville Times on my driveway, strange as I did not order it. I called and explained they must have a confused delivery person as I did not order it. They told me  no it was a free month. I told them no thank you. I do not want to pick trash up off my driveway everyday or advertise to others when I am or am not home. They said they would stop. I suppose that message was not passed along to the telemarketers but that my phone number was provided for them to harass me at home. Thanks a lot telemarketers for making everyone waste part of their lives trying to protect each other from predatory calls even though we signed up Not To Be Called.

Called the number 314-845-2825.  Lady that took the call was very polite and asked for the telephone number that was being called.  Asked from which state the number was located and then called out by name the paper from which I had subscribed to (and have since cancelled).  Said that it would take 24 to 48 hours to remove my number but would send out an email to all six locations that would be calling.  Said hopefully it wouldn't take 24 hours.  Asked if there were any other numbers that I had that were receiving calls that I wanted removed.

I just got another call and answered and told them again that I did not want the paper, so I called the local paper that they were trying to sell and filled a complaint, was told by Kyla that they do not sell phone numbers, but would tell them to stop. I told her that if they don't I would call them every time they called me.
