I am getting calls too except I answer and no response, they just sit there

Just to add I put them on my selective call rejection.

My mother received a phone call from here, they asked for her.  She told them she wasn't there and they hang up.

They just called my house 3 times in a row!!! They call my house every day at least 2 times! I found out they are in New York.

my wife has recieved several phone calls today.  they don't say anything and then hang up.  it was after a fastweb.com sign up. have they stopped calling anyone?  if so, how long?

i filled out a survey for a chance to win a free blackberry storm [they JUST called AGAIN while i was writing this] and i'm pretty sure they got my information there. it creeps me out because that means they have my address too. =(

They called me several times today, asking me about colleges. First I thought that it was from an admission officer of the colleges I am applying for so I did answer her. But then, I thought it was quite weird,strange so I went on the internet and searched for that numbers. I found and read this website .The above comments really freak me out. What's that phone about? Anyway, it really scared me. Ưho knows them? please inform us!

Got this call today.  They asked if I was looking for a university in my area and then asked to verify I lived in Nevada... I don't.

This number keeps calling my phone 3 and 4 times a day and won't leave any type of message as to who it is.
I am tired of getting these calls.
I try to answer and nobody is there.

I have had several calls a this number answered it and they hung up. then i got another call from this number 1-773-329-2747, asking about help finding collage, I said no and they said ok. I thnk these numbers are related to each other.

Just got a call from this number today. I answer and they hung up. I hope I don't have them calling my three or four times a day like some of you have been saying. That would suck.

Not sure how they got my number.

This number called me yesterday and my girlfriend answered they were looking for me she told them that they had the wrong number and they called me twice today already

I am getting numerous calls from this number also and no one is ever on the other line. I did call back and left a message for someone to return my call but that never happened. I called and left a message for them to stop calling me. That did no good either. I filed a complaint on the Do Not Call Registry website and filed a complaint with the FCC. This is a university recruiter whom is trying to hook you up with a university near you for now or in the future, I asked how they received my number and the gentleman said through a sign up on a game site online they buy the information but would not tell me which one. So there are different sites that are selling our phone info.

I just got a call from the number this morning. called it back and it said  to leave your name and number for customer service to call back.  No company name or anything as well.

I started receiving calls from this number along with another one (area code 805) yesterday afternoon and refused to answer because they were not leaving messages. I typed in the number this morning and came across this site, so when the caller just called, I answered and requested to be removed from their list.  The woman said she would remove my number, but we'll see.

Person calling me said they are following up on a college application that I filed. The thing is I have not filed any college applications, so I know that what they are trying to doing is get my personal information for identity theft. With as many complaints as there have been this year alone about this number you'd think something would have been done about it by now!!!!!!

It is University Finders..They try to "help" you find a college/school to attend..probably schools who sponsor them or give them money.

they call my cell phone constantly - i believe they got my number from one of the coupon online companies
