I got two calls from this number, both at 7 a.m., and shortly after.  one for my husband, and one for myself.  When I informed the caller of the time (the first call), he hung up on me.  When I informed him that he had just called, he hung up on me again.  Same caller both times.  When I called him back immediately, it rang and rang.  When I called back again, it said it was a number not in service.  Anyone know how I can stop this?

they just called me and when I told them to put me on the list to not call, the Indian guy started yelling and asking me why why why and then he called me an [***] and hung up!!!!

I received calls from the 718-755-4985 number back in May.  Same people, same scam, same vulgarity.  When you called the number back it was not in service.  A month later is when I received calls from the 315-498-9580 number.  I am certain that in another month or so they will switch to yet another not in service number as to keep the FTC and FCC guessing.  They are manipulating your caller ID and changing their number so that it is harder to track them down.  If you receive another call from a different number let us know at this sight so that we can ignore the calls.  Also, always report the number after you receive the call.  It takes 30 secs to do so and the more complaints received the more likely the FTC/FCC/DNC will do something to find these guys.

An Indian accent male (Indian from South East Asia) called and said he is from call center working for North Star Services working to settle the credit cards debts with credit cards companies. When I refused the service, he said "F_CK OFF" and hang up.

I keep receiving calls from this number on a cell phone. They insist on speaking to my husband. When I try to find out what they want, they are very rude and refuse to identify themselves. When I ask how I can help them, they are even more rude and finally hang up on me. I'm getting called daily and sometimes a few times a day. This is harassment and I'd like them to quit calling me.

The "no longer in service" recording sounds like nothing more than a badly done recording of an automated answer message. These people are obviously cons. We get text messages as well as phone calls, not asking but demanding personal information. Perhaps someone can track them, by someone I mean a law enforcement party, by calling the number back and just staying on the line after the recording finishes.

the guy called and was very rude with my son. that was just trying to find out who was calling. he keeps calling my wife told him not to call any more . he will not stop  .the name comes up on caller id as natural select

Called me and asked for me by name - seventh time in 10 days. They want to help me reduce my debt, expect I don't have any, so I told them and told them, each time they call.....

but norstar  really is a company in new york on genesse st in cheektowaga so that is very strange maybe they are just saying things now to get other companies in trouble

This "person" just called with my mothers name and laughed, then hung up...who is this number!

These people go by many different names.  They have used Blue Star Financial, Nationwide, Royal Financial, Norstar Financial, Ind. Perspective... and a couple more that I may be missing.  Bottom line is they are not legit and are seeking personal information to steal identities.  Get caller ID and don't pick up the phone if you don't recognize the number.

To get them to stop you must file a complaint with the FTC and the national do not call registry.  Otherwise this won't stop.  Maybe if your lucky you will get picked to file a lawsuit and win some money with government lawyers.  The link is below to file complaints.  It takes less than 3 minutes and maybe we all can put scum like this out of business.

I got a call from this number and it only played music

These people need to be stopped. Have filed several complaints with the Do not call list complaint department and they still call. They can barely speak English and get nasty when you tell them you are on the do not call list and to please remove the number. Something should be done about these kind of companies. Will ignore the call from now on.

Several calls from this number over the last week...I've never picked up.

I got 2 calls from this company, Consumer Financial, yesterday, and one call this morning. I picked up the phone and asked for their address. She said why do you want that? I said because I am reporting you to the attorney general's office. She immediately got defensive and said "go do that, go do that." I swore at her and hung up the phone. I am in New York.
