I got a call at 12:01 PM on 9/30/11 from wireless caller.  There was a message that I had won a free trip on my choice of cruises on either Royal Caribbean or another cruise line because I had entered some contest (which I had not entered).  I erased the message before I thought about reporting it.  Clearly a scam of some sort--either to get my credit card #, steal my identity, or get some $ from me.

Interesting, that there is no "scam" option under "Call Type" on this form.

Same stuff here different numbers calling daily and when I answer no one is there or won't speak.Just got a call from this # a minute ago.If I don't recognize the # I begin the call instead of saying hello...this call is being recorded.They usually hang up and do not call back!

Just got a call from these people.  It's a SCAM.  They call me about once a week using different phone numbers.  There's really no reason to try to trace the number because it is a fake that won't lead back to the real scammers.  I also filed a complaint at donotcall.gov.  

Just because your number is on the do not call list doesn't mean scammers won't call you.  They aren't a real company and don't care if you're on the list.  They're just trying to get your credit card numbers, get enough of your info to do an ID theft, or some other kind of scam.  One theory is that they get your number at random by using an auto-dialer.  Another is that they get your number if you fill out surveys, have it listed on your facebook, or they buy it from your bank or some other place you do business with.

The FTC won't investigate these things.  They just keep the donotcall complaints filed in a database that no one cares about.  The purpose of collecting the complaints and keeping them in the database is supposedly so the info can be accessed by law enforcement if the scammers ever get investigated.  Probably the only way to get an investigation going is to report them constantly.  Hopefully overloads of complaints will get their attention.

These scammers at "card services" call people multiple times a day, in the middle of the night, on their cell phones, everything.  These are the numbers they've called me from:

Just got a call from this number on my home phone, when I called back, the mail box was full.

number has called me for 3 nights now....no one responds when I answer

I got the call at 12:16 pm, but my Digitone Call Blocker 10, blocked it and hungup on them before my phone even rang. If you don't like this kinds of calls you need to buy one also.

They just called then hanged up on me!

I keep getting calls from this number..  I decided to answer it today and the message states if you want to lower your interest on credit cards and owe more than $3000.  to press one for a rep.. I did that.. when the lady answered  I explained to her that I am on the do not call list and want them to remove my number... she laughed and hung up..  I tried to call the number back but states mail box is full . I have now  three calls back from the same number within the last hour and when I answer it disconnects

the internet is great i just got a call from this bogus number ...thanks for the info!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got a call from this number, I was home this time, they got on told me it was about my mastercard or visa to lower my rates, I ask for which card and he repeated Visa and Mastercard I ask again for WHAT Company. He hung up I called back and the voicemail box is full . It is a scam and I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST

If you are on the Do Not Call list then report it.  I do every time.

Just received this call as well. Not impressed. Wish they would just stop wasting valuable space.

I got a call from them at 5am.  No message and I didnt answer because I didnt recognize the number.  Saw online its from somewhere by Witchita....

when they call answer it.  When you actually get someone, ask them if they could hold for a minute. Then go take a bath, watch a movie, take the dog for a walk...anything, just let them hold as long as they want

These [***] just called me as well and hung up before I got two words out. I dont have xresit cards, period.  My caller ID says they're out of Wichita Kansas. The [***] calls back, I've got a surprise for them. They'll be lucky if their ears quit ringing before Christmas.

I just got woke up by these dimwits. I too am on the no call list. This is a clear violation. I wish these jerks would do some jail time.

Received a call at 3pm today, 10/4, from this number. When I answered, the party hung up.

Got like 3 calls too.  Signed up each time for a credit card and was approved.  I just moved and couldn't remember my address so I gave them the best guess because I was driving and could get to my wallet.  Same for my SSN.  I really tried I just can't remember stuff especially when I'm driving.  Oh well, can't wait to get them.  I'm a little short on cash anyway and really wanted to get some cool stuff I normally can't afford.  Wha hooo, nothing like a early X-mas.  Guess I should keep an eye on my nieghbor though.  Probably my boss too.
