They told me it was ExcelTalent and I needed to pay 199 for a year subscription!  Her name was Rita.  She said I actually made a profile with them...I can't even find them...The one website I did find, she said that wasn't theirs...okay then where is it?!?!?  LOL!

I get texts like this too, and I DID make a profile with them...but then when it got to the end, and it asked me to pay, I decided not to. BUT, my profile is still on there for people to look up, and I did just get a few good jobs out of it. I never call explore talent back, I just skip the middle man and go straight to the main source. I just finished a photo shoot last night for a calendar, and next week I am shooting a commercial. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is, if ya want it bad enough, don't ust stop at one place...get out there and PUT YOURSELF OUT THERE...after all, isn't that what this business is all about?

I got a call last week from Darnell saying they are looking for people to audition for survivor. I looked online and you don't need an agency to expose you to survivor, you actually have to do everything on your own. Fill out an application submit a video, and send it in by wednesday the 14th, I got the call on Friday the 9th. Shouldnt I have been notified a lot sooner?

It's a scam.
They told me when I signed up with them initially that they'd send me some business/modeling cards... I paid 50$ for them, and they never came.

I got a call from Adam Chase @ Explore Talent.  I'm staying pretty busy with LA Casting and Actor's Access.  I believe they are the most reputable sites and wouldn't waste my time with any others.

I got a call because I had a free profile so that asked me to upgrade so they can give me the information. They said it was for Phatfarm and Baby Phat. The casting was to be held in New York city. I guy named Carter Monroe (had a Southern accent) called me to update my pics on their website.

I received a call from Carter Monroe regarding a casting for Phatfarm and Baby Phat. He told me that I needed to upgrade my account by paying for the membership since I had a free account. Also,he told me that if I didn't upgrade then he would not be able to give the casting information. After that, he told me that I needed to update my profile with new pics and a resume if I have one. He lter told me that the casting is an editorial casting paying $1500. Then, I updated my pics and I didn't recive a call back. So that means either that the casting director didn't like my pics or I need to pay the money to get casted.

Anyone who thinks this company is real is missing some brain cells or naive to the point of stupidity. They've been texting me several times a month for over 2 years. I called AT&T, and was told they can't do anything about this. I called ExploreTalent to ask them to stop, and each time was either hung up on or put on hold until their line hung up on me. It's the same one or two operators each time because the voice sounds the same. I even filed a report with the BBB and the FCC.

If anyone knows the address please list it so that anyone who wants to put the fear of God into these pricks can, or at least a taste of their own medicine

I just recieved a text from this company on 02-10-09 and the first thing i did was went online to find out about the company and located these other comments i knew it was a scam it sounds to good to be true. You just have to be smarter than these scam artist while everyother american is out of a job they always have one [***] people.
