got a text message stating that there is a "Host" search for QVC and the salary is $100,000.00. Does anybody know these people? Is this a scam please let me know........................

I recieved a call saying that they wanted me to audition for a part that paid 880-1000 dollars per day.  Now after reading all of this I'm not gonna waist my time even calling them back.

I received a email from this website sms_casting@exploretalent.net at 323 978-4000 indicating that they need kids n teens ages 5-17 needed Ed Hardy Type Clothing Line photoshoot. I had posted a picture of my 5 year old a while ago on a different site. I thought they were interested in my daughter, so I called and a lady transferred me to a Mark or Marcus don't really remember his name. Anyway, he came on the line and he took my number and said that he was going to call me back in 5 minutes ( I guess he needed to rehearse his lines). In the mean while, I went online n looked them up....surprised..surprised..it is a scam don't fall for it.

I got the same thing.. singed up for a free service on-line,  then got tons of bogus calls and kept being told If I wanted to work i needed to pay $175.00/ year credit card number to  get auditions... SCAM!!

a guy emailed me saying that i got a part for singing in this band i didn't audition for and i was going to det paid $80 an hour is this true please.... and plus i deleted my account on it ???how can this be that they still have my email address are the stalking me

It even included and audition, role # and a casting id.  So I decided to pop it google and oh F - - k!  I found this website with all these complaints.  I wonder if i should call them.  

I know one thing for sure that if they ask for money up front it is because they are not the production company looking for talent but some other type of company trying to be a middleman and sell their service.  But if you're a member of Explore Talent then you won't need any other company asking you to pay them up from for work.  

Becareful and always do your research if you have any doubts about any company or person that say they are in the industry.

I got a text from this place saying there was a $350 pay for a runway show at a night club....I'm 13....i wasnt sure if it was a scam or not but they continue to send me things like this...

Someone name Linda Lou contacted me from this number and left a message saying to call her back, which I did. She told me there have been many views of my profile looking for actresses for major motion pictures, one being alice in wonderland 2, which I dont think there is even going to be another one. She said for $199 a year the company would set up a web page for me and calling cards etc. and that she would be my personal casting advisor. She was very nice and sounded like someone I could trust but before I paid I told her I would call her back, but I havent yet because of all these comments. So I hope you are all right about it being a scam cause damn that would suck if I passed this up and it was legit!! lol ahhhhhh

i also was contacted by ExploreTalent, saying that my profile fit two rolls, one for a roll in prom and one for a roll in Pirates of the Caribbean 4. I tried to contact the fellow who left me a message, I got another personell and she stated I need to finish my profile which would cost me 120.00 to do so and that I would be put back into the pile of circulating casting profiles. I declined furthering the process and did my research. The Better Business Bureau has rated this company on a A-F system giving Explore Talent an F!! Now that doesn't mean it is a scam (which personal posts have clearly stated) but that you might want to think twice about giving this company you're money. If you are really looking to become an actor/actress or model check your local listing from Craigslist,BE aware of scams on craigslist as those do come about. Make sure you research these so called casting calls before you jump into it. Do the bad posts outweigh the good ones? Check the company who is backing the casting. Also if located in NV NVCasting is a legitimate company. Hope this helps

The first time I got a call from their b/s "Senior exceutive Creative Director" Mr. williams, who was veery foreign sounding, i was excited. This was for an audition.
I gave no money but I asked  a few legit ?'s- he couldn't answer them or they weren't in his script. But "we'll pay 700++ a day!" Sure that caught my eye given my current circumsances, but I WAITED & DID RESERACH like a true smart blonde would. I went through the BBB, still got texts & recognized these vulchers-explore talent scum- prey on the deep dreams of those of us who have talent but are just looking to get the right fit. i got a txt from them saying i would be put into a movie with jamie fox,jennifer anston and collin and i am not buying into it she try to make me pay 199dollars [***]. there not suppose to charge u to do any auditions at all. i want them to stop txt me peroid.

Keep getting text messages from SMS_casting@explore-talent.info and it's annoying!!! I never signed up for receiving any texts from some company!!!

I went with explore talent a couple years ago, payed like 500 bucks for a six month period. Went on line, couldn't find much near me. Sent my info to like 100s of casting things on the web site...never got a single hit...I was a waste of money and now they got my new number and calling me to resign up.

i got a call, message, and spoke to the guy, he said he was from explore talent & had a hole list of casting calls for pilots, modeling etc.... then he wanted me to give him a credit card over the phone so i could pay for their service of getting me recognized & booking my modeling/casting/yah dee yah dee yah...but it would cost $69.95 total..but only that one time fee....who knows, i didn't give them a credit card number, nor did i ever call them back again, but i have a butt-load of emails from them all the time that has a different listing everytime, the last one said that Drew Barry more is producing a pilot and is having a casting call & i could audition & it pays $1072.00 every episode, & it's on ABC....the other i recieved today was a modeling audition that pays $4000.00 for a excersize shoot...??? BOGUS???? I dont know but I'm NOT handing out money to scandles...do your research people, cuz if it sounds to good to be true, then it pry is :(

ya i am looking for an acting job too! Haven't found one yet but will be going to hook up with Explore talent though :)
