These people or things are calling and when I pick up they hang up.  I do not have time for this Crap!

I received calls nearly every day (and sometimes more than once a day) from this number. It is annoying. I don't pick up and they hang up without leaving a message.

6 calls within 24 hours- no message left. I will not call back if they do not leave a message saying who they are and what they want!

same thing with me they call every day@different times sick of it.......

Calls from this number 2x a day/7 days a week.  I am on a no call list, how does this telemarketing company get away with this?

How do we get them to stop?

Can... NOT... take... these... CALLS... ANYMORE!!!. Even when pick up there is no one there to tell them to stop calling!!! On DNC list but still stalking me several times a day both cell AND home!!!

Yes, Ebsco services if they are not calling about a special they may be calling to update your information for certain magazine your already subscribe to. My case was Chief Learning officer which is a free magazine and they just wanted to confirm my information was current. Very friendly.

Thank you for that phone number. It worked. I found out this is the publishing company for a magazine I tried a trial subscription to and didn't renew. They have called me 17 times in 10 days to try to get me to renew. I told the woman that under NO circumstances do I want them to ever contact me by phone.

I called 800-456-5105 and had them put me on the Do not call list.....

These calls were coming in to our call center agents several times a day - I simply call the 800 456-5105 and ask that each of the numbers be added to their do not call list and they did it with no fuss.  They explained that they obtain phone numbers from people who subscribe to their publications and many of the calls are simply short surveys.  It was reported to me that many of the calls come in with only beeping then it hangs up.  This is the autodialer getting ahead of itself.

Bottom line - if you want the calls to stop, call 800 456-5105 and ask for them to add your number to their do not call list (they advise me this will also cancel the magazine subscription).

If you want to stop all the telemarketers - go to www.donotcall.gov and register up to 5 phone numbers.

Most of you are so stupid..... READ some of the others comments! Just call them and request to be removed from the list. They are very polite, very nice, and willing to help! Only worthless losers would get so upset over a damn phone call'

This company calls every day, multiple times a day.  I even receive calls on weekends and as late as 9:00 at night.  I do not answer, and let the answering machine take the call.  They never leave a message.

HERE IS ONE SOLUTION:  Calls from EBSCO began in late May 2013 to our home land line. We have NEVER picked up the phone when the caller i.d. indicates it is EBSCO.  I have called our telephone provider AT & T to learn that AT & T CANNOT block this particular number from calling our land line.  We are on the national do NOT call list. We have AT&T privacy director which blocks incoming sales calls. We do NOT pick up the land line when the caller i.d. indicates the call is from EBSCO. I complained to senior management of the customer service dept. of AT&T and was finally given the telephone number of the Federal Trade Commission, sales marketing complaints dept.  (That number is :  877-382-4357 )  . I have filed a complaint with the FTC, which I was assured (of course I don't believe the agent who told me this) that my complaint would be forwarded to their investigators. My reason for posting this, is that I feel if ENOUGH people call the F.T.C. 's telemarketing dept, and file a complaint, that something will indeed happen. JUST REMEMBER: the squeaky wheel gets the   grease "

threy are relentless in calling daily.....many calls!!!!!

I have already had 5 calls today and that was by 2:30 in the afternoon EST.
